Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 12 Feb 2023, 07:13

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 18°.

Off for my walk.

Back to stay in. Absolutely. Not. Going. Out.

Due to excessive socialising I have a heap of TV catch up.

Roast chicken, spicy wedges and salad for dinner. :D

DOI tonight and a new thing on BBC1 called Gold.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Not too bad outside. We had some overnight rain and now the sun is coming out to play 8-) Not that warm at 15C

I have put some washing out, in the hope it will dry in this rather pitiful sun. Also chucked the cat out, as she's been inside since 7.00 last night.

We had planned on a bbq for later, so we'll see how the day goes. If not, it's plan b, which is roast pork. Or plan c, which is cook the food in the air fryer and pretend it was a bbq

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s an ok sort of morning, mostly cloudy. We got notification last week that we would have no power from 6am to 10am today due to system upgrades, so we prepared accordingly - but so far, it hasn’t gone off and it’s after 10am now. No plan for the day, I’m sure there will be plenty of sport for Edward to watch and I’ll do more of my jigsaw, made a little progress yesterday. Dancing with the Stars Ireland tonight, Call the Midwife, a new series on BBC called Gold and a bonkers series on Irish tv called Smother, which is so mad that you have to watch it  One of the actors in it lives across the road from us, we asked him the other day what was going on and he said he doesn’t know either  We are also watching the original Come Dancing which is being shown on BBC4, tonight is the final of the 1979 season - absolutely loving it and we’ve even seen some dancers that we know of. Hopefully they will show some more seasons. We’ll record it and watch tomorrow.

Good morning, just.
Grey and not very warm again.
The family is coming over for Sunday dinner, apart from that not much is happening here today.
Some strange things are happening in the village though. A man was beaten up by four other men at the top of the village yesterday. I think we are having some dodgy types dropped on us, tbh.
Have a nice day everyone.

Afternoon all :)

The usual Sunday stuff here - out for Brekkie, and then round to D’s via B&Q to pick up some plants. Mick ordered some new panels for D’s greenhouse, that need replacing. Home to a lovely beef casserole that I put in the slow cooker overnight. We followed that up with a dish of sweet raspberries, pear and yogurt- absolutely scrummy :D Looking forward to DOI and Call The Midwife later 8-)

Ally, did you manage to stay in? ;) xx

Osc, that made me laugh  xx

Glad you got your new telly sorted, Saundra :) xx

Love to all xxx
