Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 10 Feb 2023, 08:34

Morning all, it’s another sunny and frosty one - perfect for walks!

The Tesco delivery is due later this morning. Joe’s home from work at lunchtime, he’s been on an engineering design course all week - learning what John does  He said he’s enjoyed it, he did his work experience at John’s place though when he was at school and John said he quickly picked up what to do.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s dullish and damp here although I can see a break in the clouds. I was supposed to go to the gym but felt a bit off when I got up so I cancelled. I feel ok now though and have a few things on my list to work through. When that is done, I think I’ll do some of my jigsaw that Miss Osc gave me for Christmas, I think it will take until next Christmas to finish!! Edward will be heading off to play golf soon. Tesco delivery this afternoon. No dancing tonight as the organisers are gone to a competition in Blackpool.

Oh, this day 55 years ago, over coffee in a city centre cafe (long gone) we officially started “going out” together.  I was 18, Edward was 19, when you are that age you never really think you’ll still be together 55 years later, do you!

Good afternoon.
It's really sweet that you remember the date that you and Edward started to date, Osc.
A grey and cold day here. We have been to do the supermarket shop; MrsC has gone to take her Uncle Jim a couple of items.
MrsC got her passport back yesterday, one week after applying for it on line! We were expecting it to take maybe ten weeks.
Just something simple for tea today, neither of us feels like anything faffy.
Have a good day all.
