Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 05 Feb 2023, 07:01

Good morning.

Sunny and 22° forecast. 8-)

After a good walk I'm planning to read in the sunshine. :D

Don bought an all singing all dancing gas BBQ so is keen to try it out today.

He went to Mercadona yesterday and got goodies to cook on it.

DOI tonight and the last ever Happy Valley.
Can't wait to see if Tommy Lee makes it to Malaga.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny and we're forecast 20C for today 8-) We were that yesterday, so hoping for a little more today 8-)

Must water the pots today, this heat is not usual this time of year. I noticed yesterday that some of plants have been hit, even with a blanket, but hopefully, they'll make it back.

Cooked breakfast for us and roast chicken tonight :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, we’re back! Got home just before 8.30 last night, unpacked, first load in the washing machine, tea and toast and watched last week’s episode of Happy Valley so we could be up to date for tonight. Our snow holiday was 100% successful and we will certainly do it again.

Today is fairly sunny, we are pottering about - Edward is batch cooking veg and preparing a chicken dinner. Tesco delivered about 10.15. I’m doing the final bits of clearing up the holiday stuff and this afternoon we’ll catch up on some of our recorded stuff. Dancing with the Stars Ireland this evening and of course, the finale of Happy Valley!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Glad you had a lovely holiday Osc, the photo's on Fb are brilliant.

We've had a nice lie in, just having brekkie. Chicken and veg for dinner, raspberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud. Will be glued to the box this evening, DOI followed by Happy Valley. We usually watch it on catch up, but not this week, can't wait to see how it ends. Call the Midwife will have to wait until tomorrow this week.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally it might be better if he got to Malaga as James Norton (vairy nice) rather than Tommy Lee :D  xx

Welcome back Osc, it did all look absolutely stunning! :) xx

Lovely to have some sunshine Jan :) xx

Oooh chilly there then, Cruiser :? xx

It's the same here Saundra, sunny and not too chilly 8-) xx

We had a lie in too Jen, for a change xx

So we're without the car today, as the MOT couldn't be done on Friday it's off the road until tomorrow! So as it couldn't be helped we decided to make the most of it. A nice lie in, then breakfast, done a bit of washing to make the most of the solar panels, then B and I walked Fraggle up to the Co-op for the newspaper. I'm doing a roast for later, chicken, roasties and lots of veg. Looking forward to DOI later :D

Love to all xxx

Glad you had such a lovely time Osc :Hi:

Roast chicken seems to be the theme today

I've been weeding, had to take my jumper off  and every now and then, get into the shade. Berlinkin' hot out there 8-)

Just one more big flower bed to do, but that can wait. My back hurts

Evening all, it’s been a cooler day today but very sunny.

I was out for much of yesterday with Joe, it was our first Saturday 3pm kick off of the season (which started in mid-August). It was quite strange driving up and even leaving the stadium in daylight.

This morning the lads took my Dad out to a local tearoom for breakfast. He’s since phoned me to say how much he enjoyed himself and how proud of them he is. They then took him back home and taught him how to make his own pizzas
