Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start again, but the sun is out, so should be another warm day. Well, warm for January in the Alentejo

I'm off to the coffee morning with the girls this morning, David and Rita are going too, but I have a carload, so we'll meet them there, I can give books and take books, so that's my mission. Grumpy was going to come  :o  but we had a text from Jorge to say he would be delivering the wood this morning, so he has an excuse

Probably reading this afternoon

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy the Day of Kings, Ally :D xx

Lucky escape then for Grumpy, Jan? ;) Hope you get some good new books to read xx

It looks like a dry day here, fingers crossed. We're going out for breakfast in a while, then round to see D. I have some chasing up to do for her, as I applied to renew her Blue Badge for the car a good while back, and the current one expires soon. So I'll do that while we're there, ringing them will probably be best. Went to Pilates last night, for the first time in three weeks, so will probably ache a bit later :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning everybody.
Lots of blue sky but still cold. Going tothe bank and hopefully get some fish. A lady comes on Fridays selling fresh fish.I like roll mop herrings. Will get two
tubs if possible. Also some other fish for dinner. There is always a queue usually pensioners like me. She comes from Fleetwood.
I will then goto Tesco for some more food shopping. That is the morning takencare of.
Housework this afternoon
Have hada phone call from the doctor to say he cannot see anything wrong after I had the ultra sound scan before Christmas. He listened to what I had to say
and did not try to end the conversation. So I am fit enough to come to another do in Birmingham if the trains are not on strike.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning.
Happy day of the Kings Ally and enjoy the meet up Jan.
I hope you don't ache too much Kaz.
Good news about the scan Cruiser.
Matty the electrician has just been and has confirmed that the house electrics are OK but that the oven has had it. He and my son used to play football together as boys and are still friends now, as are many of the lads who used to play in the team. That's nice, isn't it?
A chilly but clear morning here.
We have the supermarket run this morning and will look for a cooker this afternoon. There is a family firm in Featherstone who reconditions them; they are a good honest local business. I'd rather buy from them than a chain.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it is quite a pleasant one here, and not too cold. Edward will heading out to play golf in a while and I will get on with cleaning the bathrooms as they didn’t get done yesterday, due to a spur of the moment trip out to buy a new Christmas tree - best time to buy as they are half price at this time of year. Supermarket delivery this afternoon, going dancing tonight.

Great news about the scan, Cruiser :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Have a nice walk Ally.
Enjoy the coffee morning Jan.
Take it easy Kaz.
Good news about the scan Cruiser.
Happy cooker shopping Crommers.
Good luck buying a new Christmas tree Osc.

Yesterday I booked the airport hotel and transfers for our trip to Barbados. Now just got to book an airport lounge, but no rush for that. Washing and bed change today, Sainsbury's delivery this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

That was a good ton of wood, all dry, mixed sizes and that will last us the winter.

Coffee morning was okay, but I managed to get some books, so I'm happy ;)

Clouded over now, but it was a really hot morning, standing on a terrace, overlooking fields and fields of wild flowers.

Grumpy is taking me for a beer down at the bar, as the wood was cheaper than we though :Hi:

Glad the scan came back okay Cruiser x

Afternoon all, it’s cooler today and there’s a bit of rain in the air.

I’m just back from the dentist and Joe’s just home from work so we’re having some lunch. We’re off up the M6 to Manchester again later this afternoon.
There’s a surprise get together tonight in the hotel bar down the lane for a neighbour who turns 60 this weekend and is moving in the next couple of weeks. John and Tom will represent.

That’s good news Cruiser!

Have a good day all :)
