Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

He has come out of hiding!! Jack Frost. The windows of the car were frosted over when I went for the paper. It is cold and I have put the CH on.
Willbe doing some housework to keep warm.
The sun is out and there is a lovely blue sky.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Wet. Very wet. Not forecast, just looked and it says one per cent chance of rain  We obviously have the one per cent  Cool at 22C, but feels quite mild at the moment.

I'm off to the dreaded coffee morning later, with the normal crew. I'm only going as they have books, and I need books. I'll try and be sociable and to talk to people I wouldn't normally bother with

Back to read, hopefully. I had planned on more weeding, but not a chance of that today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I meant to say it was lovely seeing Don yesterday but boy did he look knackered!

His voice is really hoarse too from all the singing.

Him and Conor had an absolutely brilliant time. :cute:

Morning all :)

It’s solar panel day - again! I offered to take Fraggle round to D’s in case he kicks off, but Mick reckons he’ll be ok this time. I’m reserving judgement but am going into town, just in case ;)

Ally, hope Don soon gets his voice back  xx

Cruiser it’s chillier here too, but no frost yet xx

Hope you score some good books Jan :D xx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.
Ally - a day off?? Don sounds to have had a good time in Madrid!
Hope you find some good reads Jan. Cruiser, same here; frosty, sunny and a blue sky. Hope the solar panels get sorted Kaz.
In a while we are off to sainsbury's, though if they don't sort themselves out soon we'll have to change. Not enough staff on the checkouts, gaps on the shelves, not good.
After that we may have a mooch out for a coffee.
The steroids I have been given have worked; less inflammation feeling, less soreness and stiffness. Apparently they have side effects if you take them for a long period but for now they are just what the doctor ordered, no pun intended.
Have a nice day everyone.

If it prednisolone Crommers, they make you eat.

Proper eat. Fish cake butties, chip butties, anything and everything fattening

But they work, so best of luck x

Morning all, it is a bright sunny morning here but for the first time there was condensation on the bedroom window. We are going to a funeral this morning, a dancing friend who died last week. They live in Co, Meath but luckily for us the funeral is in the parish where she grew up so only about a 20 minute drive instead of almost an hour. Edward wants to go to B&Q afterwards although he says it could wait until another day, then our supermarket delivery is due between 3-5. Going dancing tonight.

Crommers, D went up to over 9st when she was on a longish course of steroids, where normally she barely breaks the 8st dripping wet! Jan it was that sort of food too - sugar and carbs :? :!:

Osc, I hope it goes as well as possible. Sorry about your friend :( xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

It's my annual diabetic eye test this afternoon. I'll get a taxi to get there on time and jump on a bus to get home. Will just do two loads of washing today, the bed change can wait until tomorrow. Expecting a Sainsbury's delivery in the next hour or so.

Hope you all have a good day xx
