Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 31 Oct 2022, 06:22

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 25°. 8-)

Going for a walk to end up meeting friends for a coffee. They'll all eat but my tummy doesn't wake up till about 11.

A swim this afternoon, last one, then lazing. :D

Will walk into Mercadona later to buy buns and ham to make up a picnic for Don and Conor's train journey tomorrow. :D

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

We've had rain :Hi: :Hi: and more to come :Hi: Feeling cool ish at 21C. Sun will be out to play this afternoon, apparently 8-)

Amazing how dark this house is, when it's grey outside and we have such huge windows  Had having to put the lights on during the day.

Ironing for me and a day for reading or watching the rubbish that is day time tv. Well, Grumpy probably will, he'll find something on Portuguese tv probably.

Leftover curry for dinner, that will keep us warm

Havea good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

25° sounds perfect, Ally :D xx

21° doesn't sound that bad either, Jan ;) xx

Morning, Cruiser :) xx

We had a terrific time at the wedding, what a fabulous venue Cardiff Castle is :D :Hi: I took some photos, might pop them on the photo board later. Debbie looked amazing, she wore a medieval style velvet gown made for her by a theatrical costumier, and looked stunning. Mike is Welsh, so wore his family tartan, and looked incredibly smart 8-) The room for the banquet afterwards was vaulted, with painted scenes on the walls, and two beautifully set long tables - stunning! Nice food too. We left before 9 as D was really tired, there had been a fair few steps to climb, and her COPD has worsened over the last year :( She did really enjoy catching up with family though 8-) :)

Usual Monday plans here, into town to meet Em for lunch and a bit of shopping :) I

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny

Wonder where autumn has gone, not complaining it's still nice and warm here. Planning to take advantage of the sunshine and get the garden done today. The garden bin gets collected tomorrow so it's perfect timing.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everyone.
I have dropped MrsC and her sister off at our son's to do a bit of cleaning, and gone to Sainsbury's for a few bits.
Jen, it really is unseasonably warm isn't it? I'm not complaining though. I'd rather be comfortably warm than frozen daft. That sounds like a lovely day Kaz.
Not much going on here, have a nice day everybody.

Just had a phone call from Beja Hospital.

Tests being done on Wednesday :Hi: :Hi:

We had planned on going to Castro Verde that morning, as the market is on, but it can wait.

Now going out this afternoon, to do the normal shopping and get something from the chemist. Will have a pit stop at the bar on the way back.

Raining again :Hi:

Afternoon all, it’s a reasonably nice day here and still very mild. We had Michael and Kellie for the night, so were up a little earlier than usual. The chef made pancakes which were lovely. Miss Osc or hubby will apparently collect them around lunchtime, but no word yet. I’ve stripped their beds and got the bedding into the washing machine, my brother is coming to stay the night on Wednesday so a quick room turnaround is required! Once the children have left, we’ll be relaxing for the rest of the day - it’s a bank holiday here.
