Good morning.

Sunny and 27°. 8-)

Picking some friends up from the airport at 9am. They've been in Peru for three weeks.

I'll have a swim this afternoon.

Don and I met 34 years ago today. :cute:

We're going out tonight to the Thai restaurant. :D

Have a great day.

Thinking of Wendy today. ((((xx))))

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun coming through the clouds and it looks rather autumnal out there. Damp grass and a little misty. 26C for us.

Cooking head on again this morning. Made a bolognaise and chilli yesterday, today is stew, chicken and white bean and a curry for Saturday. Daft that I am, it's still too hot for a curry, really ;)

No effects whatsoever from yesterday's jabs. A slightly tender feel to both arms, but nothing else.

Might do a little weeding this afternoon, might not.

Thinking of Wnedy and Aggers today x

Happy meeting anniversary Ally :Hi:

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

It is raining.Thereare still lots of grey clouds so it looks as if it is going to last a long time. It musthave been windy in the night as there are bits of paper
and plastic on the front garden. Don't know where they have come from as rubish is normally put in bins. Probably someone walkinh up the main road
eating a take-way meal.
Engineer coming this afternoon to do the annaul service on the alarm. We had it fitted many years ago. Have had new batteries and last year had a new
control panel as the alsrm kept going off and they couldn't find a fault. The new one is much better and should lastme now.
Will be dusting and polishing this morning

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s dull, damp and dreary here. We are going to dance practice this morning and as we probably won’t have Kellie today (that could change depending on how my sister feels after her friend’s funeral yesterday) we’ll head to a shopping centre for a bit of lunch and a potter around. I also need to contact the credit card company, our bill didn’t arrive this month and I never quite understand where the cutoff date is on the internet banking. Off to tidy around before we go out.

Cruiser you are welcome to do my dusting anytime!

good morning everyone

Ally, happy meet'versary to you and Don, have a fab day.
Jan, that is a cooking marathon, wow! and glad you've had no effects from the jab.
Cruiser, hope the alarm guy turns up on time; and agree with Osc, you're welcome to come here do my dusting as well :D Will repay with a nice whiskey or brandy or just a regular cuppa :D
Osc, do you not have your credit card online / on an app? Might be more reliable :?:
Jen, enjoy the hairdresser; I've overdue a cut so really need to get something booked

Thinking of Wendy today and hope she is surrounded by many friends and family x

Another usual / usual for me so nothing exciting to report.

Have a lovely day all x

Afternoon everyone :)

I was thinking of dear Aggers and Wendy at midday xx

Sunshine and showers here, it certainly poured first thing! Out to Sainsbury's earlier, and just had some lunch. Need to crack on with some cleaning, although Mick vacuumed and steamed the floors while I was out. Going out with my Pilates friends tonight for a meal, as the class isn't on (school hols) 8-)

Love to all xxx

I’m a bit old school, I like to get a paper bill for the credit card, mark off what should be paid from holiday account, from budget account, from current account. Holiday money is saved in the post office so I can pay that part of the credit card in the post office. The rest I do online. It turned out that someone somewhere had decided I had become ebill only so that was changed back, I got the dates I needed and now I can sort myself out.

We had a nice wander around the shopping centre, I got some undies and Edward got a new puffer jacket.
