Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 23 Oct 2022, 06:10

Good morning.

Another 27°er. 8-)

Happy 30th birthday to my gorgeous twins. :cute:

They were both nattering away to each other yesterday and came up with an idea for today.

They thought it would be lovely if the four of us went to Nerja.
They know how much Don and I love it there so we're going to our favourite Indian restaurant for lunch. :D

I'm sure a stroll on the beach and an ice cream will feature strongly too.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Was sunny earlier, but clouded over now and more wet stuff is forecast, although the sun breaks through the cloud every now and then. Cool at 22C.

Happy Birthday to the twins :Hi: :Hi: Not jealous of an Indian   Have a great day.

Not a lot going on here, I would love to get out and weed, but think the ground might be too wet, but I'll go out later and see.

Roast pork for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here but not raining at the moment and not cold. No real plan for the day, although I’ll go up to the attic to put away the final few summer clothes and also check out our “dress up” box - we have two Halloween dances next weekend, and although we both dislike fancy dress, we try and make an effort of some kind. General tidying around will be about it for the day.

ETA - it’s raining now and we have a thunderstorm warning until 1pm

hello and good morning all

Happy 30th to the twins Ally, hope they (and you) have a fantabulous day and wishing them nothing but the best for the years ahead x
Cruiser, if you weather is anything like it is here then staying inside is the only thing to be doing ;-)
Jan, hope you get some weeding done (if you want to that is), enjoy the pork dinner - yum!
Osc, wish I had an attic, never mind one big enough to store clothing. Hope you find something suitable for halloween dress up

Well, a definite lazy day for me today - tested positive for Covid yesterday (2nd time this year) so going to take it easy. Same symptoms as last time, a bit achy and shivery on day one and then nothing more than a bit of a head cold with lots of sniffling and sneezing - just as well I'm not on a train commuting; I'd be the one everyone glares at     But I'm sure I got this bout from the trains, they're getting busy again and no-one is wearing masks anymore. The other day I was on a service that didn't have air con and the windows were closed because it was cold and rainy and the inside was all steamed up with everyone's breath... as a friend said to me; talk about a mobile large petri dish. Oh well - it's a very wet day here so perfect for not doing much. Have just placed an online order for delivery tomorrow morning so all good.

have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all.
Happy birthday to your twins Ally. Your day sounds lovely.
Enjoy the rain Jan; at the moment we have no shortage here! It has rained heavily overnight and is still raining.
MrsC had a lovely meet up yesterday with her old chums. One's a genuine Lady you know!
MrsC told me a story about how her friend Sue first met her future husband Mike. Sue was wearing stylish italian jeans and a top with the letter "M" on the front.
Mike comes up and says "What does the M stand for?". Sue replies "It stands for Mind your own business!". Much laughter. They have been together ever since.
Family Sunday dinner today, always good.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all :D

Wet here

Happy 30th to your twins Ally, have a lovely day.
Sensible to stay inside today Cruiser.
I'm not jealous of an Indian meal either Jan.....much
I'm not keen on fancy dress either Osc.
Sorry you've tested positive again Ria, hope you feel better soon.
Glad MrsC enjoyed meeting up with her friends yesterday Crommers. Have a nice family dinner.

So glad we went out for a walk yesterday, we definitely won't be going anywhere today. Roast chicken with veg for dinner, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all :)

A huge Happy Birthday to your boys Ally :Hi: :Hi: xxx

Good to keep busy Cruiser xxx

Have a good one Jan xxx

Hope you find something to wear, Osc xxx

(((((Ria)))))) Rotten luck, I hope you manage to shake it off soon xxx

Crommers, that's funny   8-) xxx

Torrential rain here earlier Jen, but it's now a beautiful sunny afternoon xxx

So, as said, sunshine now, and oddly warm! We should have had our day round the other way, as we managed to go out in the rain, and now are indoors  :cute:  Just us two this morning, B stayed in to await a delivery, and do her washing - so we left Fraggle with her and went inside at Corretto's to the comfy seats

Made another slow cooker casserole for dinner, we've got Professor T on the player and the Sunday Times to plough through  I had a horrid optical migraine yesterday evening - flashing lights, tingling, headache, the works, so a nice quiet afternoon suits me fine 8-)

Love to all xxx

What a lovely day it was. The clouds went and the sun came out :Hi:

Managed to get some weeding done, not too much, as the ground is very wet, but the big one's came out very easily, as well and the grass around the edges, so the donkeys were happy

Grumpy cleared most of the veg plot and will do some more tomorrow.

I have just spent an hour trying to sort out Grumpy's appointment for the new card, but for some reason, it will only give me Faro, for him and Beja for me, which is not good. I might have to ring them, unless some bright spark on a couple of forum I can on can help.

I got so engrossed in it, I forgot to put the pork joint in the oven  and the spuds are done, but nothing else is

He's watching snooker, I'm typing in the dark. I really must get a light for this corner of the lounge
