The boys are having a night out in Malaga with their friends and they're both coming back here to stay the night so they'll be with us for their birthday tomorrow.

Morning all, it’s a pleasant morning here. Edward has set off walking to attend Michael’s soccer match at 10am. SIL was away overnight, so Miss Osc will be dropping Kellie here shortly so I can bring her to ballet as Miss Osc is going on a day-long athletics course. Later we’ll go to a local supermarket as there were a couple of things we couldn’t get from Tesco. Then back home for the rest of the day, no doubt Edward will watch sport and I have knitting and reading to do.

I dropped MrsC off at the railway station this morning; she is going to a reunion with her collage friends in York. It's nice that they are still friends after all these years.

I might have a mooch around the shops later before picking MrsC up.

We're off for our first proper walk in over a week, really looking forward to it. Don't think my ankle will like it much, but looking out to sea makes up for a lot. Strictly tonight, the standard is so high this year so we're going to be losing someone good each week from here on in.

The usual Saturday stuff here, out this morning to Corretto's then up to see D. Mick and I popped into the Quays Outlet to buy him a decent new white shirt - we're off to a wedding at Cardiff Castle next Sunday I'm going to wear the rather nice dressy jumpsuit I bought for a 60th in July that we never got to, as we had Covid

My sister and niece are wedding dress shopping, and updating me via WhatsApp photos - they're at the place where Gok Wan films Say Yes To The Dress If they can't sort her out, nobody can
