Just looked at my ticker. It's going down rapidly. Time to start thinking of getting a few gifts to take over.

I'll go for my walk around 10 as my lady wot does wants to have a chat with me. Flippin 'eck! She can talk for Spain and I usually avoid her. This must be serious.

A swim later then plan to read.

Bit early to tell, but the forecast is good.

Up at silly o' clock, got an appointment at the hospital with the ankle man this morning. It will probably be a waste of time, the last time I saw him he wasn't at all interested and I had to push him for the referral to orthotics. Oh well, provided I don't have to hang around too long we'll take advantage of the early start and have brekkie out before coming home. Haven't done that for a long time.

Up and out early, so we can get the shopping done, also need to get the winteriser for the pool and stamps in the post office. My youngest grandsons love to get postcards from Portugal and Jan gave me a load, so one will go off today

We'll shut the pool down today. After the next few days of rain, think it will be too cold to get in again. We'll tidy up the loungers and cover them up too.

Gez is supposed to come up sometime today, for a gossip and tea. Lots of tea, normally

A clear blue sky and not a cloud in sight. But it is not warm. Just doing houseworktoday. Will put washing in the machine but not put it on till this afternoon.

Not expecting any visitors so will have a quiet day.

Morning all, it’s a bright calm morning here although cool, it got very cold last night. Edward has gone to play golf a bit earlier as his friend has something to do this afternoon. I’m off shopping, I have a big charity bag to bring to TK Maxx, and want to get my Clinique creams in Boots as they have a 3 for the price of two offer on, and also have to get a birthday card for my nephew who will be 50 next week - I’m too young to have a nephew that age I’ll tidy around before I go and also get petrol on the way.

Morning all, it’s a very sunny one and again forecast to be 17° this afternoon. It was frosty on the common first thing though with a low lying mist.

Bill had his walk and we were back in time to chat to Joe before he left for college. The washing’s on the line and hopefully I can get the lawns cut later once the dews dried off, it looks like we’re in for rain pretty much daily after today.

Just a quickie as I’m round at D’s- the solar panel guys came quite early and Fraggle kicked off big time. He was getting into a bit of a state, so we thought it best that I bought him round here - with his heart murmur we don’t like him getting too upset
