Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 12 Oct 2022, 06:00

Good morning.

Sunny and warm. Forecast 29°. 8-)

Today is Día de la Hispanidad (national Day of Spain) which means the whole of Spain is in party mood. Nowt new there then.

Our plaza has been decorated in hundreds of yellow and red umbrellas and at lunchtime a huge paella will be cooked right in the centre.

The twins stayed over last night so we're all going to walk in and take part in the celebrations. I love living here!

Conor will give Jacob a lift home on his motorbike and Don and I will no doubt indulge in a few beers and dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely morning and we're also 29C later 8-)

Enjoy the festa Ally :Hi:

I'll pop down to Jan's later and take back the stuff I borrowed. Also take some paperwork down, for her help.

Then I'll be putting some cuttings in the garden. Hopefully, the hares and rabbits will leave them alone, now we've had some rain and the grass is sgrowing.

Stir fry later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull here with some rain forecast. We are having a day out, going into town to collect my repaired ring and potter around the shops, and we’ll have some lunch. Better tidy around, the next bus is in 30 minutes >>>>>>

Morning all.
29c, I'd like a bit of that, please and thankyou!
Cold and grey here.
In a while we are off to the delights of Aldi and B&M. The back fence looks a lot better with a lick of cuprinol on it; if the rain holds off I'll do a bit more this afternoon.
We are picking the child Eliza up from school. She had her first parent'ss evening the other day and got a good report. Her mummy is proud of her!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

We were planning a walk today, but have decided to take advantage of the nice weather to get out in the garden to get it ready for winter. E would happily give it a miss, he says me and a pair of shears is enough to bring on nightmares. In fairness he has a point, when I get going it's a case of kill or cure, my pruning skills do tend to be on the severe side

Hope you all have a good day xx

Evening everyone :)

Sorry to be late, I've been out all day and forgot to take my phone :cute:

Met my friend J for a coffee, then walked up to D's and was there all afternoon. Mick has pretty well finished up there now :) Was supposed to go to Zumba tonight but have had a stomach ache all day, so am giving it a muss.

Jen, D is exactly the same, absolutely lethal with the secateurs

Ally, hope you're enjoying the festivities :) xx

Love to all xxx
