Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 30 Sep 2022, 05:26

Good morning.

A perfectly lovely 26°. I can see from the forecast it's going to creep up a few degrees again next week but like Scarlett O'Hara, I'll think about that another day.

A swim shortly. I can feel the pool getting cooler too so will relegate swims to the afternoon only from next week. Hopefully I'll be able to use it for October as usual then knock it on the head till next Spring.

Nail painting this afternoon and Friday beers and tapas tonight. :D

Safe travels home today Ria. xx

Have a great day.

Morning all :)

26° sounds absolutely perfect, Ally :D Am thinking of replacing my gels tonight, just have to decide what colour ;) :D xx

It's certainly getting cooler, Cruiser xx

It looks dull here, but me and himself are going out - with Fraggle too, of course  I went to Pilates last night, and ache a bit this morning, so need to walk it out. A time of two around the Docks basin should do it followed by a bite of lunch somewhere dog-friendly ;) Mick will be busy next week, as he's replacing D's hall carpet with a hard floor, so making the most of some "us" time today :)

Jan, I hope the sun shines for your visitors today :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it’s miserable here. I was to go for a walk with my NZ friend, but we’ll go for a coffee instead. She has to be back in her sister’s house by 12pm as they are going somewhere. Then I might do some ironing this afternoon - or not - and we are going dancing this evening. Edward will be watching the Dunhill golf competition from St Andrews, looks like they have bad weather there too.

Good morning all.
Dull here and it has rained overnight. We're due to get heavy rain this afternoon.
We've seen a rat in the back garden again.
In the twenty years we had cats we never saw one. But, we haven't seen ratty for a day or too but we have seen some cat poo on the back lawn. So maybe some feline avenger has done us a favour.
That apart we've had a pigeon fly into the kitchen window again, leaving a big greasy mark. We must have the daftest pigeons in the north of England. i wouldn't mind but we only had the window cleaner yesterday!
We have the Rington's man coming this morning, a wine delivery and then a Sainsbury's run and some cooking this afternoon.
Your weather sounds perfect Ally. Yes Cruiser, definitely cooler now. I hope you aren't aching to much Kaz and the ironing will do for tomorrow Osc.
Safe travels to Ria and I hope Jan's guests enjoy some good weather today.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone

Blowing a hooley still, but the sun is out. A cool 24C forecast.

A relaxing day for us all, after lots of laughter and chat and a very late night last night.

Up and at the bar by 8.30 for the breakfast rolls, grandson and girlfriend have just surfaced

Will be getting the lilo's out for them later, as they intend to get in the pool.

I'm cooking tonight so hopefully, we'll get an earlier night :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull here with heavy rain forecast from lunchtime onwards.

Bill had a long walk first thing, it was nice and bright then. Just waiting for the Tesco delivery now, it’s due any minute. Bill’s in the front window keeping lookout for it, he’ll let me know when it arrives

Really enjoyed the film last night, it’s had mixed reviews but I was glued to it and didn’t see the twist coming.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Eeek a rat Crommers, I know they are always around us, but I hate to see them  My neighbour a couple of doors along says she sees them from time to time, but puts it down to the bird feed falling to the ground. We get a lot of birds in the bushes at the end of the garden, but don't put food out as there are lots of berries which they seem to enjoy.

Usual Friday washing and bed change to keep me busy.

Hope you all have a good day xx
