Moring Ally, morning everyone

temperatures definitely heading in a downward direction here Ally; night time temperatures dropped to single figures last night.
working from home day for me today - yay! will get some washing on the go and try get a few things done in-between working. I'm away tonight and tomorrow night (coming home in-between) so need to start thinking about packing for holidays and making sure I have everything I need. Temperatures don't look overly warm in Greece; so will have to think about layers which means more packing than expected; but hey ho.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Misty start, but expecting high 20's and sun today 8-)

Washing machine is working away and will be for another couple of days. Then it's the pile of ironing

Normal cleaning morning for me, then I'll tackle the fridges.

We were down the bar yesterday and Senor Melon turned up. After his kip, down by the trees, he came up to the bar with four types of melons, but also sweet potatoes and white onions.

I have never seen such huge sweet potatoes and they were light pink, rather than dark red, so I bought two. One is enough for both of us, so I'll do something with it tonight. I was told, by various bods, that they're better roasted, so I'll add one of the onions and Brito's green beans too.

Layers Ria, always layers. Thin layers.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a sunny one.

Bill took me for a lovely long walk first thing. There’ll be washing to hang out in a few minutes and the Tesco delivery is due between 11 and 12, Bill’s already perched on the arm of the sofa looking down the road for it.

Joe’s off work today, he’d booked it off a few weeks ago so it’s turned into a four day weekend for him, not that he can do much on Monday with everything being closed. Amanda stayed last night, it’s been lovely to see her. She’s working two jobs - in the Co Op in their village and also waitressing in a pub - so doesn’t have much free time as she’s working 6 days a week, she’s thinking of leaving the waitressing job for that reason.

Have a good day all :)

To be honest Saundra, the house needs a good deep clean, not done it since we moved in and although the house is clean, I worked as a hotel housekeeper for years and it's ingrained to do a proper job.

And I'll have the satisfaction of knowing it's really clean.

And won't have to do it again next year

Apart from the bed frame, I always forget the bed frames

Lovely and sunny now, quite warm too :Hi:

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Ally enjoy the day in Nerja.
Have fun preparing for your holiday Ria.
Don't overdo it Jan, I'm like you, I always do a big clean before visitors arrive.
You've been busy Jo.
Enjoy the tv Saundra, I'll be playing catch up later.

We had a really long lie in this morning so now running rather late  Usual Friday washing and bed change plus a Sainsbury's delivery later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx
