Morning Ally, morning everyone

More cloud than blue sky at the moment, but very pleasant outside 8-)

Must get the cleaning done this morning, a bit more of a clean than I normally do. I'll be doing a deep clean in a couple of weeks, but for now, the bits we can see will be done ;)

Then I'll be making the first curry of autumn :o by request  but that's for tomorrow. Tonight, it's pre made stuff out of the freezer. I need to make room for soup making next week, ready for the family when they come over.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

good morning you two and everyone - happy Friday!

Jan, don't overdo the cleaning; it all just gets messy again anyway :D
Ally, knock about 20 of your 34 and then you've got the temperature outside here at the moment    Enjoy the tapas this evening, esp with the boys there as well

Well another usual / usual for me. Had a busy day yesterday so hoping today will be a bit quieter so I can catch up on a few things. We had lovely rain overnight, the grass is definitely developing a bit of a green hue again which is nice. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed that next week we'll have more rain. My neighbours (both here at home and they have the plot next to mine at the allotment) are going away for a week and have asked if I can water their plot and then they'll do mine when I'm away end of this month (will post separate on that). Which in theory is fine but... they've got their whole plot planted up and there's two of them whereas I've only got half mine being productive (if even that much come the end of the month) and it's just me. So they'll hardly have any watering to do for me whereas if it doesn't rain I'm going to be in a bit of a pickle because we now also have our head of HR coming over from the US next week so instead of being in two days only I may well need to be in four :o and I honestly don't know where I'll find the time to water two plots; but hey ho....

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Glad you had such a good day yesterday Ally, enjoy the rest today :) xx

Ria, we do desperately need some rain, but if it could just avoid Salcombe for three days next week I'd be very grateful ;) :cute:  xx

I've got a haircut at 3.45, but until then the day is our lobster - Mick has his "good" jeans on, so he's most likely planning on coming out with me this morning :D When he's in his scruff I know he's got jobs to do   ;) My hairdresser's is just round the corner from Em, she said to pop in for a cuppa afterwards, so I will.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it is very autumnal here, cloudy and dark earlier but a hazy sun has appeared. However, we have a wet weather warning from 7pm right over the weekend. Rain forecast on some days next week in Italy too, it should be nice and warm though and we are not going for the sun. Bits and pieces to be done today, but the packing is mostly done. Getting my nails done at 6pm.

Kaz, Edward has “good” jeans too

Good morning.
A nice morning here, not as windy as yesterday and quite warm.
We are waiting in for the Rington's tea man to come and after that we are doing a supermarket shop.
May do a bit of batch cooking this afternoon.
Son has gone to London today for a mooch around and to look at some guitars in Denmark Street.
Have a good day everyone.

ps Ria, I always remember the Joan Rivers joke about housework - "Six months later, you've got to do it all again!"
