Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 08 Aug 2022, 04:52

Good morning.

After 16 glorious days here with Craig I'm off back up to Scotland for a week.
My train's at 2.45pm.

We're going to a cafe for brunch and Craig will drop me at the station later.

I've got myself booked into a Premier Inn for the next couple of nights.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, enjoy Scotland.

Getting clearer here with high clouds and set to be warn.

I am up and about so that I can have something to eat. I have an abdominal CT scan this afternoon and am not allowed to eat for six hours beforehand. The only thing I can have is water.

Enjoy whatever plans you have, and stay cool.

Morning everyone

Clouds now gone and it's already quite warm 8-)

Safe travels Ally x

Hope all is well WM x

Watering done and one load of washing out. Had to put a cardi on first thing  It's off now though ;)

A stroll down the track later, to water the plants down by the gate - although "some-one" has driven over one  so need to replace that eventually. Going to measure the length of the access just for my piece of mind. It should be 10 metres in width and it varies between 10 metres and 7 metres   I'm really, really hoping the length stops short of our wall.

General pootling today and a leisurely swim later, along with a float, to top up the tan.

Salad for dinner - again

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Hot 8-)

Hope you're okay and the scan goes well WM.

I was up at silly o'clock to ring the surgery as soon as their lines opened. Not too bad, I was 4th in the queue and a doctor phoned me back just before I got in the shower. I'm off to see her at 11 this morning. It's just a minor problem and probably just needs antibiotics, but better safe than sorry.

Afterwards we'll pop into town, need to pick up a prescription from Boots and will pop into the greengrocer to buy some nice big jacket pots. More activity than normal, but not to worry I'll make up for all that activity by relaxing in the garden for the rest of the day ;)

Stay cool and have a good day xx

Favas now bubbling away and I'm now going to chop chicken breasts up, to make a chicken dish for the freezer.

Bit if a bummer, the length is 60.5 metres  So who ever did the measurements got them really badly wrong. Bit of a bugger that. Hope he doesn't realise, he try and stop us from using our gate, knowing him.

Clouds have come back  but a lot of blue too :D
