Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 26 Jul 2022, 05:34

Good morning.

Bright and sunny so I'm away for a walk soon. :D

Craig does that indoor climbing malarkey and I'm going to give it a go with him today. :P

Tonight there's a birthday party at his local pub as Dan the owner is 40. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm already, but we're a lot lower, temperature wise, today. Down 10C from last week  We had the most stunning sunrise :D Well, we do most mornings, but >I'm normally asleep

The big fire just down the road is still going strong  We'll have the air support out soon, no doubt. Had nine up there yesterday

Watering done and I'm off to have my tootsies done this morning :D We'll do the shopping afterwards and also need to collect - hopefully - Grumpy's scan results, so he can see the doc this week-end, if he's working.

Pit stop for coffee and then the pool will call 8-) 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
Gosh Ally, you got some get up and go in you. Enjoy the pool Jan.
A bit of shopping today. Our last day of peace and quiet before Dobby the crazed canine descends upon us. Our daughter is off on holiday for a week and her usual dog sitter is unavailable so MrsC volunteered.
Dull here and it has rained overnight. We really need it though.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone!

Well I have Covid after managing to dodge it all this time! A big fat instant positive on the test I did, after waking up feeling rotten! Mick is a lot better thankfully. So far it's a really sore throat, and headache, and a mild cough.

Fraggle is still tired after his GA yesterday, but otherwise fine.

Take care everyone xxx,

Morning all :D

We didn't get any rain after all yesterday, a little cooler this morning but nice and fresh.

Oh what a shame Kaz, hope you feel better soon xx
Stay safe Jan, that fire sounds a bit too close for comfort.

E's knee is feeling a lot better today so we'll be off for a walk along the seafront in the next hour or so. Plan to have a good rest at the harbour before tackling the walk back, a very good excuse to pop into the Pavilion for a light lunch 8-)

Stay cool and have a good day xx

Hello all

Oh no Kaz, I'm sorry - hope you feel better very soon (((hugs))). I p
Gosh Jan, hope the fire is under some control soon. We seem to have had wild fire after wildfire where I live; it's just horrible. They're much smaller that your fires but still so devastating. Hope you get the scan results x
Ally - you're going to love the climbing! Enjoy the drinks this evening
Crommers - you'll love have Dobby; he'll keep you on your toes and out of trouble :D No rain here unfortuantely; and we so could do with it
Jen, perfect thinking - and if the knee isn't up for the walk home you can always cab it back. Enjoy the walk and the lunch

Well in the office today; but working from home the rest of the week I think.

Have a lovely day all x

Afternoon all, it’s dull and has been raining on and off since first thing.

I’ve done a lot of running around this morning so I’m hoping for a quieter afternoon. John was out before 5.30 because he’d got to be at a car factory in Liverpool by 8am (I think today is JLR at Halewood although he did mention that they’ve won a contract at Vauxhall at Ellesmere Port too and will be visiting there soon, he’s at one or the other anyway) for a site visit and meeting.

Kaz, I hope you’re soon feeling much better. Get plenty of rest. John’s sister’s tested positive today too after dodging it throughout, despite working in a hospital.

Afternoon all, it’s mostly not sunny and cooler :( I had a lovely relaxing pedicure and my toenails are a nice light pink colour, I’ll have a manicure on Thursday as we are going to a dance weekend on Friday. I also got my fringe trimmed and made an appointment for cut and colour in a couple of weeks time. Yesterday evening I spent over an hour trying to renew my Public Services Card online (the card I use for free travel). It kept rejecting my photo, Edward must have taken six or seven and you can see me getting more and more peed off  We carefully followed all their criteria, with no luck, and eventually gave up before I threw the iPad out the window. Today? Photo accepted with no problem  I’ve also renewed my driving licence online, thankfully they used my previous photo :D This afternoon I’ll organise clothes for our weekend away, dancing weekends require more clothes than regular ones, we’re going by car though so I can throw in the kitchen sink ;)

Good afternoon everybody.

I am late as Virgin have been doing maintenance on the system in this area. Went shopping this morning on the bus. It had ben raining but
it has got warmer and sunnier as the day progressed. Went to the barbers and had my haircut on the way back.
Have mopped the kitchen floor this afternoon. I have a steam cleaner which easily removes marks on the floor.

Have also renewed my car tax on line. I had a problem as it would not accept the credit card I wanted to use. It is MBNA. Good job I have
another one which was accepted.
Osc, I can understand your frustration with trying to renew your card. I am trying to complete the app with my vaccination details and
other info for my cruise. I will take it next week when I have my PCR test so they can check the correct information is on my phone.
I have phoned twice to Royal Caribbean and all I get is that I have to complete the app but no instructions. Even when I say I am 87 years old,
the operator does not give anyn useful help.
THisis one reson why I will not be ruising any more.
Have a good day everybody.
