Back from my walk.

Lazy day by the pool reading. :D

We're having a few friends round tonight for a BBQ.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another fresh morning, rather warm again later. Much better than when we lived in the Algarve and the nights were really warm too 8-)

Off to Ourique this morning, as I want to get the prep out of the way for lunch tomorrow. We'd normally take them out, bu the infection rate has rocketed locally, so will give that a miss. As Ze has serious lung problems and is on oxygen, seems to be the best move.

Want to get outside and do more pulling up of weeds once that is done.

Bar for a few beers before the footie later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Have a great barbecue Ally :) xx

That sounds sensible Jan xx

We're up early as we want to get to the Docks early - the Southgate carpark was already chock-a-block yesterday by 9.30 because of the Tall Ships, and we try to avoid the multi-storey when we have Fraggle, as it means carrying him through the mall (dogs not allowed) :? He's heavy for a little dog   The Southgate car Park is all outside, and just a short walk to Corretto's  Out for a meal tonight with Em and Dave :) It's very quiet here without Becky

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning everybody.

Sunny but there is a cooling breeze. Have just had a phone call from my son. He is working this morning as he works for a Japanese firm who
have not had a holiday to celebrate the Jubilee.
Kaz, would love to see the tall ships. Saw one when we were on a cruise. It was docked across the quay from us. Got some good photos
as we walked into the town.
Will be doing some gardening and ironing today.
Have a good day everybody.

Cruiser we have been round the ships once or twice since we moved back here in ‘09, but as it tends to be similar ships each time we don’t do that now - we just enjoy the ambience down here while it’s on, and the accompanying food market 8-) :)

Morning all :D

Started off dull, but the sun's coming out now and it's forecast to be a lovely afternoon.

Ramsgate was heaving yesterday, there was a parade down by the harbour and looking at the photo's on our local Fb page a lot of fun was had by all.

A bit of an adventure today, we're planning a trip down to the harbour in and hour or so. The idea is to park up close to the the King George steps so we can get down to the promenade and take a leisurely stroll along the sea front. Apart from the steps it's about the same distance we usually walk along the top and there are plenty of places for me to sit down. The only thing that could prove difficult is the walk back to the car, but I'm well pilled up and we'll have a nice long break at the Pavilion, providing we can get a seat that is.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s just started to rain here and it’s very breezy

Another morning of running around. John was having a dashcam fitted at Halfords at 9 so I went with him and we had breakfast (actually, that was John’s second breakfast of the day) at McDonalds and while he went back and spoke to the fella doing the work I had a mooch around Dunelm. Then it was straight back home to get Bill to go for a walk on Hednesford Hills. We’ve since had some lunch and taken a walk around the corner to village fete which is on the green at the front of the estate.

Tom and Shannon are now here and later we’re off to have fish and chips with my parents, sister and brother in law. It’ll be nice to see Julie and Rog but my parents are such hard work :?

Hopefully we’ll be able to catch some of the Jubilee concert after we get home (hopefully I don’t miss Duran Duran) and we’ve got the last two episodes of Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols biopic to watch (on Disney+ of all unexpected places  ).

Becky went to her dad's on Wednesday Saundra, she's back on Monday :) She took Wednesday and Monday as holiday, both sides of the Jubilee BH, which gave her almost a week off :) Harry is really well thanks, settled into his new job :D

Jo, I have to say I thought Duran Duran were truly dreadful, only slightly better than Rod Stewart. What did you think?
