Where is the heatwave we were promised?

It is currently 10 °C and will drop to 7 °C overnight. It does not get much better over the Bank Holiday, then there is the rain!
I have had to put a jumper on.

We have rain forecast for this week WM and are still waiting for the warmth we had a few weeks ago.

I arrived home after lunch today. Temps were a fairly low 18c when I arrived but perked up a bit. This week rain, but warmer. weekend after next a bigger bump into the 30's.
We shall see.
