Putting this up.

It is 5 Meters long.

On Sunday I didn't do much. To be honest I wasn't capable of much as Mrs S was only able to help me with balancing the beam or stopping it from tilting over. It will form the front support of our new roof we are going to cover the desk with. Having finally given up on ever being able to water manage the deck from underneath.

I'll work on it some more later in the week. This week we need to get out to Castorama and get some cheap plasterboard for the new living room next door.

About 2 hours with an electric mini jackhammer. My main concern was the 10lb stone falling onto the courtyard and smashing the tiles. I had to balance the drill on the ladder and try and lever the stones out gently....

Not a better day...

The beam is roughly 10 inches by 5 inches by 16 feet. Just as well it's composite pine as I would not have been able to move it.
