Morning Ally - oh a real family get-together, that's lovely :D I hope Ed has a fab time 8-)

Becks won't surface for hours yet I don't suppose but all is very quiet and still up on the top storey here - hers and H's bedrooms are on the second floor - so I'd imagine she is sleeping like the proverbial :D She said last night she'd missed her own bed - not surprising when they normally spend so much time together ;) :P :D :D

Before she went up last night B said she'd got some fantastic photos, especially of the baby orangs which came really close, so as soon as she uploads them I will post some :D 8-)

Lazyish day here - cooking a roast later, and still have a few little bits to get into the skip but otherwise a quiet day 8-) Might cut the lawn later though as it's dry here again :)

Enjoy your day everyone :) xx

Morning :)
Quite nice again here, hardly dare believe we might get two days in a row without the wet stuff :D
I'd like to strip the bed but suppose it will be easier when it's empty

Yesterday Bb and youngest got the grass cut at the front, ours was the last to be looking scruffy in this little road. Then we three went into town and had a wander, right down to the quay where Bb bought them ice creams.
It was really beautiful down there, and very very busy, which is good news for the shops which in that lower part of town are all small independent ones and must be really struggling this year.
Bb collected eldest after work and all we did after that was watch Dr Who and BGT and eat pizzas :D

You'll have a lovely houseful at times then Ally, enjoy your visitors :)
Kaz how many hours for B to break her own sleep record? :D
Looking forward to reports and pictures :)
Have a good day all
Di

Sounds like you had a lovely day Di :D :D

B's sleep record? Well I did once come home from working a Saturday at about 6pm to discover B was still asleep - and neither Mick nor H had thought to wake her! They were enjoying the peace and quiet

Good afternoon all, it's mild here but just starting to cloud over after a bright start.

John's out on his bike and I've walked Billy over the common, he's had a good run. There's a loaf baking in the oven and shortly I'm going to make a sausage plait which can cook quickly when John gets home.

John had to make a site visit yesterday for work and I ran down to town to get the fruit and veg - I came back to find the lawns were all cut thanks to Tom  I walked up the close thinking I could smell freshly cut grass and it turned out to be ours!!

Kaz, we've been known to leave Joe to sleep longer than we really should do when we've been enjoying the silence   He's not known for being quiet you see....

Afternoon all! We've been up since just after 9am and himself has been watching the London Marathon. I must say, London looks gorgeous in the sun, one of my very favourite cities. Not been doing much, I'm quite tired for some reason. I'm still mooching around in my tracksuit, must have my shower soon. I might do some filing and other paperwork this afternoon, or maybe some ironing....or maybe not  Mr. Osc did a lovely chicken casserole in the slow cooker yesterday and there was enough for today's dinner too, so we will have that later with some rice. Glad you have B home safe and well, Kaz, it will be brilliant looking at her photos and hearing about her great adventure. Have a good day everyone :)
