Morning everyone

Looking good out there, a few fluffy clouds but the sun is coming out to play ;)

Off to Bente's this morning, as Grumpy has more maintenance work, I'm taking a Jill Mansell book I bought for 50 cents :D If the sun is out and the wind has dropped, I'll sit outside, if not, it's inside for me.

News here full of the royal baby too - it was even on before the football  now that is important, that's normally the first item

Hope you all hav a good day, whatever you're doing and hope Mr Jen is enjoying his first few days of retirement :D

Morning Ton and morning to those still asleep. ;)

More packing today. Playcentre this morning, but missed was too tired for kindy this afternoon, so instead mum took her shopping for new shoes, and succeeded, highly amazing. My little girl now has size 11 feet! That I think is a euro size 29! Crikey, she's only 3.5 years old!

Anyhow, more of the same tomorrow.

Saundra our recycling lorry only accepts the thin cardboard, not the thicker padded stuff lots of stuff is packaged in  We have to take that to the tip ourselves

Morning all :)
Lovely and bright here, not frosty but good and cold.
Shan't be here long as I have the car for the whole morning - my only slot this week I think, so had best make the most of it :D
And since I'm only about halfway with Bb's presents that's what I shall be in search of...if only I knew what I was searching for it would help

Whilst tidying up the little room upstairs (ok, my little room), found something I'd completely forgotten about. A few months ago I got a big piece of lovely red linen from a charity shop, washed it and put it in a bag. So now am making special Christmas cushion covers - think I'll only get two, as they're going to be envelope-style.
I have some almost white cream linen/cotton as well, so I think one is going to have 'snow' on it, and the other 'noel', and snowballs :D
Hope everyone has a good day, hope your parcels arrive Kaz
Di

Di, you have reminded me to look for fabric for some cushion covers. I want to make some tartan wool covers for winter. I have looked at the price of wool fabric, but have decided to buy a throw instead and make a couple of covers with it. Cheaper that way 8-)

Hi there. I managed to get the Christmas mailing out for the office yesterday, so today I plan to stop
at the post office to get rid of my parcels and overseas cards. Then I will also mail off my local ones.
I know it's early, but then I'll be finished with it and can concentrate on more important things - like
baking! I make a lot of my own candy for Christmas and it is a lot more fun if I don't have all the shopping
and cards to do as well. So. This year I am being extremely organized so it will be a great holiday.
Other than that - I just have work to see to. The temps are still very mild today, but are expected to drop
to a more seasonal level tomorrow. Still, we managed to get to the 4th of December with balmy temps and
no snow - yeahhhhhh! :D 8-) Happy Tuesday.
