Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 15 Nov 2021, 06:38

Good morning.

Temps are going the wrong way...up instead of down!

Our new bikes are having their first outing. :cute:

We're going to drive to the coast then cycle from the golf course left towards Malaga. I think there's a cycle path almost all the way. :cute:

Don's making a Thai curry with the leftover chicken and the other Masterchef will be worth watching too.

Have a great day.

We've saved The Joker till next weekend Jen & Jo as Don wanted to watch the Ireland game last night.
I'm looking forward to it after your opinions. :D

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny and misty 8-) but it will warm up soon :D

Will get those plants in this morning, inbetween doing the washing. It will finish off the bank nicely.

Then a gentle sit in the sun this afternoon. The temperature drops by about 16C from the day time to night time temps. No wonder we light the fire

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

It's madness here Jan....we still haven't put the duvet on the bed yet. :o

It's not so much still being really warm in the day as we get lovely winter temps it's the fact it's staying so warm at night.

I could've continued using the pool.

On another note....Don's getting ready for what looks like the tour de France.

Good morning. If either of you want to send some of that Iberian warmth northwards, feel free.
MrsC is trying to arrange a visit to her Auntie Violet this morning. Yesterday she went to the remembrance service in her home village. There must have been a couple of hundred people there and it isn't a big place. Partly I think the big turnout is because a lad from the village was shot dead in NI in the 70's. He is still remembered and the family is well liked.
We are going to get out for a walk today but that's as exciting as it gets.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s sunny here but obviously rained overnight. My body knows I was dancing for nearly three hours yesterday  but I’m going to the gym in a while so that’ll help. Edward has gone to play golf and he has a dental appointment this afternoon. In between times, I’ll do some h/work.  Ally, I’ll bet Don enjoyed the match, two good games for Ireland in less than a week and the icing on the cake was Serbia beating Portugal after Portugal being unable to win against Ireland on Thursday.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Enjoy the bike ride Ally.
Sitting in the sun sounds lovely Jan, shame you can't send some over here.
Was sad to hear about Sergio moving to a hospice Crommers, hope they keep him comfortable and pain free.
Three hours dancing Osc :o I'd be on my knees within 30mins

My days are much the same at the moment. Expecting a Tesco delivery between 1-2pm and Boots should arrive with meds sometime today. E's popped a gammon in the slow cooker ready for dinner tonight, already smells nice.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hi everyone :)

Ally that made me laugh, is he going to grow the sideburns? ;) xx

Well I am in town as per, but no Emma today as her mum, who is generally a very fit and young looking 91 - has had a heart attack and is in the cardiac ward in Cheltenham General :( Some VV vibes would be very much appreciated please. I came in to post, tracked, some documents for B and H, something to do with their stepgran’s will (not D) and pick up yet more milk, fruit and bread! Harry’s 6ft 3, 13st frame takes some filling :cute:  I’ve also collected an order from M&S, just the sheer tights I want for the wedding on the 27th. Will pop in to see D on my way home. No Zumba tonight because of Em’s circumstances.

Take care everyone xxx

Lots of vibes for Emma's mum, Kaz.
Jen the ambulance came for Sergio this morning. The only good part of this is that his wife J will get a break now. This year her dad died then shortly after her mum; prior to that she'd been trying to look after them too (with her sister) as well as Sergio. If ever a woman deserved a rest, it's J.
