Digital TV reception.

Postby Workingman » 12 Nov 2021, 20:05

It has been hell these past few days. Channels breaking up, no picture, no sound. Transmitter sites show no problems their end so it must be the weather! BBC channels are the worst. Emley Moor mast, my local, is 100% operative but reception is abyssmal.

I have tried two attic aerials and three indoor ones and nothing works - they all break up.

The only way to watch TV for me is on the Internet and on the laptop.

Poor here as well. It's noticeable that the greater the number of the Freeview channel, the less likelihood we have of getting a picture. By the time you've got beyond 20 Drama, you've no chance!

We find some freeview channels break up and lifeboats .
Sometimes I think it's because of high pressure weather systems but then again not always and yet our 2nd son who lives 30 minute walk away doesn't get as many problems as we do
