Good morning Thursday

Postby debih » 18 Apr 2013, 07:18

Morning all. It's horrible out there - blowing an absolute gale and rain lashing at the windows.

I am driving L, H and E (I have the neighbours children this morning) to school this morning it is so wet. Poor old S doesn't get that luxury as she has to leave earlier. I got completely soaked taking Millie out.

This morning I have to nip to Wirksworth to fetch my fruit, veg and salad bags. I haven't had them for a while so I'm looking forward to getting them. I'll let you know what I get in them later.

Then home to do some governor work on policies and also to list some bits and pieces for sale on Ebay. I have some Clinique eye lotion and toner that I know I will never use (they came in gift packs - I use the rest of the stuff but not those), two pairs of riding boots that L has outgrown, some old Brownie uniform and a couple of Mini Boden things that L has outgrown. I don't think I'll make all that much out of them but every little bit counts!

Same here Debih, terrible rain, strong winds and more to come.. When will it all end?? Yesterday turned out reasonable took to pup and Barney for a long walk, such beautiful scenery around here.. The wind through the woods sounded like the sea, closing ones eyes I was transported to Cornwall.. Have a good day everyone.

Morning Debih :) It's windy here too but not rain yet. Hope poor S doesn't get too wet on her way to school!

Morning Kate :)

We're up early again as Mick is about to leave for a meeting, it's in Farnborough so he's taking the car rather than the train. I'll be doing more sorting out and then maybe a walk up to Sainsbury's later as we're low on a few things, and running Peps on the field at some point as Mick hasn't had time to walk her properly - she'll be ok with trips down the garden until then ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

 He's just left, to howls of protest from Pepper  She's now balanced on the back of the sofa, watching his car disappear round the corner

Morning all :D

Very windy here too, but like kaz no rain as yet.

Up early as I've a client due at 10 who has a habit of arriving much too soon or a little late, rarely actually on time  Anyway, better to be dressed and prepared. Will probably pop to the local shops when she's gone and before the next one arrives at 12.30.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Bits and bobs for me today. D is home, so we may work in the garden if it stays dry. I have been getting on with the dress I'm making, so might get it finished today...hope it fits
Wishing everyone a good day xxx

Morning everyone

Bit blowy here too, but lovely and wrm already 8-)

Off to Tavira later, as our friend, who should have arrived a couple of weeks ago, is now coing toorrow, so need to check his tiny house out.

Then it's duvet shopping, so a walk into Tavira and if we can't find any there, then into the shopping mall in Tavira and if we can't find them there..........

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :)
It's quite bright here, and very windy, but believe it or not (I'm sure you do) it rained most of the night and more due later
I have some jumpers in washing in so will put them out then try to catch them before they get wetter :D
Good luck duvet-hunting Ton.
Poor S Debih, she'll be drenched! And poor Pepper, she's not used to seeing M disappear much is she? Minnie's awful if Bb drops us off at the park and then drives off :)
No Ally this morning? Maybe she just couldn't stop before her run :)
Good luck with the dress Loz, fingers crossed for the proper try-on :)
Hope your client's not too late Jen.
More h-word for me today, why can't houses keep themselves clean?!
Have a good day all

No she really isn't and half the time when he goes out he'll take her, if he can :) I am a very poor substitute I'm afraid   She's lying under his desk at the moment  She'll perk up in a minute when I get her lead 8-) Ah spoke too soon, she's just galloped in, jumped up on me and is licking my hand - she must be psychic lol xx

Ton I hope you got your duvet, I bought a new one in Sainsbury's the other day with their double nectar points :D

Jen I hope your client turned up on time - she sounds a bit of a nuisance ;) xxx
