Morning Ally, morning everyone

Enjoy your lazy day Ally

Put a not in front of the nice and you've got the weather here :D :D :D blustery and windy and wet for most of the night and meant to stay like this until midday(ish). But still relatively warm given the time of year. Given the clocks go back tonight, I've still got Cosmos in full bloom and flowers on my strawberry plants. But as of next week it's meant to cool down so suspect everything will die back then.

Vet appointment at 10am for Ava's boosters. I always bring the cat carrier in the night before so before I get Ava into the carrier I need to vacate Harry out of it; he loves it in there. Unless the appointment is for him - then he has a sixth sense and hides under the sofa

Anyway must dash and get ready

have a lovely happy Friday everyone xxx

Morning all, it’s pretty dreary day here, the rain has just about stopped at last. It rained non-stop in Wicklow and the drive home yesterday was horrible. However, we had a nice time with Michael and Kellie, visited Wicklow Jail which was fun. We had lunch there too, the food was pretty good for a tourist place. Then we went to a new coffee shop they wanted to show us, for hot chocolate and nice cakes. Miss Osc and SIL took advantage of us as we wanted them to, and had a nice meal out before driving back from Dublin.

We had our flu injections yesterday afternoon, both have sore arms today. My brother is coming to stay the night, he is meeting a friend for lunch and then will come here. He is taking us out for brunch tomorrow morning, so I need to book that. Dusting around also needed, and I have a few other bits and pieces to do. Edward’s golf has been postponed for an hour as the course is currently closed due to the rain. I suspect it might be cancelled completely.

Good morning all.
Very changeable here. Dull one minute, sunny the next.
Eliza is due in a little while. We had her yesterday as well and MrsC and her sis took Eliza out for a picnic.
We need to do the weekend shop so it will be Sainsbury's this afternoon and a good slump tonight after Eliza has gone back home. :)
Have a good day all.

Morning everyone

Wet :Hi: :Hi: Not as bad - yet - as we've been told to expect, but still, lovely rain :Hi: Not too cold either.

Had a disturbed night, with the cat wanting to go out, come in, go out  so I ended up in the new bedroom, reading from 4.00  Dozed for about half an hour sometimes around 7.00, then carried on reading. As the drizzle started, we had coffee in bed and have only just had breakfast

So a day for staying in and reading. The cleaning can wait.

Ria, the clocks go back tomorrow night, not tonight 8-)

Glad you had a lovely time Osc :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here

Washing day here, no bed change though, that can wait until tomorrow. It's my pre-op assessment this afternoon, fingers crossed it all goes smoothly and there aren't any last minute hiccups.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Not had as much rain, but the clouds are back, and rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Which is a shame, as we're planning on going to the little market in Ourique. Only on once a month and normally held outside, but they've moved it to the pavilion, so we'll only get a little bit wet

Very warm though 8-)

Evening everyone :)

I honestly thought I had posted this morning before I went out, but obviously not   So you're not the only one losing track, Ria ;)

Been out all day again, walked into town first thing to call into M&S. Whilst there I caught sight of myself in a full-length mirror, and saw that my brand new skirt from Roman Originals was unravelling around the hem! First time of wearing! :o  As I was going straight on to the hairdressers from town, then on to Emma's house for a cuppa this afternoon, without going home, I couldn't walk round like that! So I bought a sale-rail skirt to wear and put it on in the changing room, and have sent a message of complaint to the RO Facebook page I follow - that's pretty shoddy, isn't it?!

Apart from that it's been a good day, am happy with my haircut, I did my colour last night, and the cuppa and cake round at Em's was fun, our Pilates friend Sarah came too :) I got my cleaning and ironing done early, so there was nothing to do when I got home, apart from cooking the stir-fry for dinner :D
