Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Cruiser, Siesta is being planned here as well; I've been awake since 3am. I was woken up because of a noise outside and then just couldn't get back to sleep.

It's a distinctly meh kind of morning here, grey and drizzly and doesn't look like it wants to clear. I'm picking up Nadine at 10ish and then we're heading into Guildford to meet up with a friend for brunch. The rest of the day will be general pootling. My sister arrives on the 15th of September and there is just so much to do before she gets here to get the place neat and tidy. I keep looking at everything get totally overwhelmed and then end up doing nothing; so first job is to make a list of what needs doing and then break things down into manageable tasks and do one or two a day vs everything in one go - well that's the plan

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning Cruiser, Ria and everyone

Meh just about describes it here too  Grey sky but at least it's mild 8-) Expecting the sun to come out later.

Do one room at a time Ria, just a couple of things a day and you'll soon get through the list.

A better nights sleep here, although I wake up every couple of hours  The cat doesn't help, wanting to come in, go out, eat :cute:

Washing day today and Grumpy is still working his way through the list. Although I might just do some dead-heading myself this morning. We have planned on going down to Chris and Lucy's, so he can finish off the door frame. We can have a coffee and check the post on the way back.

Tuna salad for the next couple of dinners, so I will do the potatoes and eggs this morning, then just assemble it all later :D

Enjoy brunch Ria :D say hi to Nadine from us both xx

Hav a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
Grey here too. This is not August weather.
A siesta is not a bad idea, Cruiser and Ria.
I'm glad you are sleeping a little bit better Jan.
I need to get a photo taken for a paper based application but I don't know if any of the photo booths around here are open.
Apart from that Eliza is here this afternoon. She hasn't been too well, there has been a sickness bug going around local children but she is a lot better today. She was ill in the night for two or three nights running so we are having her so her parents can have a bit of a rest. Maybe they will have a siesta too!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

What a miserable Bank Holiday Monday, we've had rain overnight and it's dull and miserable right now, expect we'll get more rain as the day goes by

Not much happening here, expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon. Really need to sort the utility cupboard and spare room, not feeling too enthusiastic so we'll see. Will probably spend a few hours catching up with the Paralympics, our team are doing wonderfully well, more medals again overnight :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s been a meh day here too, not a bank holiday though. I was at the gym this morning and then went for a cuppa with the ladies afterwards. Miss Osc popped in with Michael and Kellie after she collected them from their first day back at school. Next thing, Michael had asked Grandad could they go and play pitch and putt, and Kellie asked could we go to their house for dinner, so that’s the rest of our day sorted

Afternoon everyone :)

We've been out almost all day, we met Em and Dave down at the Quays for a cuppa and brunch, then round to see D. Got home about ten minutes ago, and B is on her way out again with Fraggle - she and her BF Hannah are taking Fraggle for a walk up Robinswood Hill. I've bought a curry for Mick and me to have for dinner tonight, one of those "fakeaway" boxes the supermarkets do. No Zumba as it's BH Monday :) Becky had a great time at the cider festival on Saturday, but the drinks were so expensive that they all decided not to go back on Sunday (they had weekend tickets) and sold them instead

Hope you got your siesta Cruiser xx

Ria, that will be lovely to have your sister staying :D xx

I'm pleased you're sleeping a bit better Jan, and had a lovely swim :) ((x))

Aw, sorry to hear that Eliza hasn't been well Crommers - they do bounce back quickly though, don't they, at that age xxx

I could do with you to declutter for me Saundra, we need a good turn out here really  ;) xxx

Miserable weather here too Jen - no rain, but they and a bit chilly  xxx

Glad the children got you sorted, Osc  xxx

Love to all :) xxx
