Spring has sprung

Postby Kaz » 15 Apr 2013, 14:35

here today for sure!!!! It is still breezy and we've had the odd shower of rain, but my goodness it is so much warmer!!! Even the wind has that lovely soft feel to it and the rain showers smell of leaves and grass......................thank goodness!!! I walked up to Sainsbury's and in between showers the sun was really warm - I risked wearing my denim jacket instead of a coat or mac and I was plenty warm enough 8-) 8-)

To complete my springlike mood I got some fab bargains in Sainsbury's - am about to post about them 8-)

We went out one day last week without coats!

Yes Spring has sprung, and not before time.

We have the doors open today.

yesterday started off like that for us - it was meant to be quite warm so we'd planned a BBQ but had to move inside about an hour into it as it started to rain and got chilly again. But it's definitely way warmer than has been so yup - spring has sprung.

And I give it 2 weeks and the trees will have their leaves, more things will be flowering - fantastic :) :) :)

It is just a tad warmer here today. I keep looking at the trees to see if they are going to blossom, but they don't seem quite ready yet here. I did see a few wild violets on my dog walk yesterday though :D

Not only did I put my washing out to dry but it was ironed and put away three hours later. A real treat after having it on clothes airers in the utility room throughout the long, long Winter. As I was hanging it on the line I could feel the warmth of the sun on my back and it was absolutely beautiful :D

Yes it is definitely warmer although we have a very strong wind which has kept it cooler than some of you - I have still worn my usual warm coat to work but with a fine jumper under it rather than two or three layers!

It's lovely to see a bit of sunshine, even if it IS behind the glass window of work
