And then there was fish.

Postby Workingman » 31 Jul 2021, 20:00

Just been to Asda and there was loads of it in the reduced section - salmon, haddock, cod, sea bass: if it swims it was there.

I hate salmon and cod, but now have to make space in the fullish freezer for the fresh tiger prawns, sea bass and whiting.

Shop late and save money is my tip. :D :D :D

Oh I love a reduced bargain 8-) Especially meat, I've had big packs of mince, trays of lamb chops, all sorts - as long as I have enough freezer space :?

I love salmon especially from M & S.
Also kippers and smoked haddock. There is a van which comes every Friday with fresh fish. Always a queue.
He may not be there very much longer as the council have made plans to re-develope the market and he and othertraders will have to find a different
location. Tipical local council, spoil a good service witha montrosity nobody wants.
