Morning Saundra, morning everyone

Warm in the sun but chilly in the shade and wind

Watering done and that's about it for the day. The wind is too cold to get in the pool and I'm still resting one of the hernia's. Even walking I can feel it

Cooler again tomorrow, so the week-end bbq ill be later today I'll find something in the freezer for tomorrow.

Thinking of Ally, dad and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny but cooler here. We are heading to Cork today for a family get together and the forecast is very good, which is great as we will be eating outside this evening. I need to finish packing, tidy around, I have a hair appointment at 10.30 and after that, we will get on the road. Looking forward to a night in a hotel! Also looking forward to seeing Michael and Kellie as we haven’t seen them in over two weeks. Back home tomorrow.

Good morning all, it’s breezy and much cooler here - such a relief!

I took Bill out at 7 for his walk and we got back at 8.45. Next up I’m mowing the lawns and then I need to cut John’s hair. He’s got two days of his isolation left now, he’s freed back into society from Midnight tomorrow night. Typical that it’s fallen fully over two weekends and stopped us from going anywhere

Have a lovely time Osc!

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :)

Enjoy your garden day, Saundra:) Bet the gravel looks nice :) xx

Crikey Jan, take it easy (((x)))

Osc, have a wonderful time :) xx

Bet John will be glad to be able to go out again Jo! One of my nephews finished a 10 day isolation yesterday - he's actually had the virus although no symptoms to speak of xx

Thinking of Ally and her family xx

It's very cool, 16° here, and grey
Rain threatened for later, but then the gardens need it. B and I have been to our meeting, both had small gains which was only to be expected really after all that entertaining :) We're at Corretto's now, with Fraggle, having brunch :) Off to see D in a while.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Hot and sunny here 8-)

Have fun in the garden Saundra.
Jan take it easy xx
Enjoy your night away Osc.
Thinking of Ally and family xx

There were a few wet patches on the patio so we must have had rain overnight, but it's lovely now. Sadly E's neck is even worse today, he can hardly move it so we won't be doing much, he's definitely not able to get the umbrellas up to sit outside. Lucky we have glass across the back, I'll just open it all up and let the fresh air come in that way.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all - greyish and cooler here, yesterday was glorious!! 8-) But I do love sunshine, so all good for me :)

I've been off since Wednesday, so on Thursday I did my usual Durham day, a walk in and around the city and along the river banks...some students were swimming in the river!  It's not the clearest of rivers...rather them than me!! Coffee at Coffee House, and saw my friend Anne pass with her husband, we'll meet up in a week or so for a coffee and a catch up 8-) Lidl shopping (shelves pretty bare in places, and the store itself quiet.....strange) then to Aquafit in the evening for a class :D :D

Tom went to the caravan yesterday morning to mind the kids while D came home for an overnight stay (I'd have gone with him but I'm EXTREMELY picky about bed linen, and didn't fancy sleeping in a bed where someone else has been all week nor did I want to go to the bother of changing the bed for one night, so I stayed home. So I headed off to the Arnison Centre and got some cat food at PAH, couple of bits elsewhere, and had a cheese toastie for lunch in Costa (the one inside Next was closed due to staff isolating  so this was the regular Costa store) then on to the nearby garden centre as I wasnted to price up hydrangeas.....I got one anyway (£5!!) a couple of tubs, a snapdragon and an acer.....altogether came to £14.50 8-) :D This particular GC is super cheap but doesn't always have what you're looking for. Then I called in to see my sister and we arranged to go to this today

https://www.brancepethcastle.org.uk/craft-fairs.html

She asked if I'd mind picking our cousin up also - her husband is currently in hospital having had a heart bypass (the op went ok but his recovery is very slow....he IS 80) so she felt Dawn (cousin) could use some cheering up, John's been in hospital since May 31st! Anyway, the fair was lovely, not TOO busy, Dawn got me a latte and a scone as a thankyou for giving her a lift - she can drive but doesn't nowadays. Dropped them both off after and I'm now home and so is Tom :)

Osc how lovely - enjoy!!

Oh Jen that's a shame, hope E feels better soon :)

Have a lovely day, if you can xxxxx

Good afternoon everybody.

Have been at the vaccination centre this morning.I was one of the volunteers making sure everybody sat for 15 minutes after they had been vaccinated.
Three men collapsed while they were sat down. The first one walked to a couch already prepared forthis sort of incidence. He was lied down for about 15 minutes
before he was allowed to get up.
The second man slid off his chair and there was a thud as his head hit the wooden floor. Similarly with the third soon after the second and very close.
So two screens to sheild them while they lay o the floor.
Eventually after medical staff had got them up sitting in a chair, they were escorted out of the building back to their car.
I was there from 8.30 a.m to 1.30 p.m. It was a varied age group, some of them having their first one
Now just relaxing
