£4,500 for a new bathroom!
F-f-f-f-f-festering ferrets! I'm not paying that - the floor would never take the weight of a solid gold bath anyway; and at that money surely it has to be a solid gold bath?
Good job I was sitting down when i got the quote, I went all dizzy!

I wish thats all mine had cost me. Its only the size of a postage stamp but taking out the bath and organising a shower large enough for my disabled husband to be able to have a stool in . plus new loo, handbasin and all tiling , all from Wickes cost just over £5000. In hindsight I think a jobbing plumber would have been my best bet and let him sub contract the tiling and electrics if need be. It does look nice now its done but there isnt a gold tap of vestal virgin anywhere to be seen.
