Morning all :)
It's dull here but not raining :D There was a huge bicycle ride thing through the Forest organised for yesterday and today, but today's been cancelled. The car park (same one as for the New Forest Show) is completely unusable and too many roads are flooded/unpassable. Please someone tell me there will be a really long dry spell soon :(

Bb's watching the Grand prix, then I shall make bacon butties. Then we have to go all the way to Homebase to take back our floor lamp that we bought before Christmas. It's blown its 3rd bulb so there's definitely something wrong with it, bit odd as they last a little while, but anyway they can have it back!
The joys of Lidl to look forward to as well, such excitement :D

Ally have a lovely day, and Loz too, ooh yes cutting takes aaaaages! - only one more sleep, that's nice :)
Have a good day all

Morning everyone

Another gorgeous morning 8-)

Been up ages, watched the grnd prix, showered, breakfasted and now I'll be pottering whilst Grumpy has another lazy day

No bbq. I forgot the footie was on later, so chicken breasts with something or other and left over dauphinoise pots and salad.

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Mrs C has just seen a butterfly! A brimstone butterfly, which is bright yellow and is supposed to be a "herald of spring"!
It come out on warm days (don't we all).
We're going out for Sunday lunch to the local farm shop in a while, apart from that we don't have much planned for the day.

Morning all. Its lovely here but I have been cooped up inside, fiddling with James. :D :D

So far today he has produced pancakes for the girls breakfast, bacon and eggs for ours, the rabbit stew is back in one oven (god its a tough old beast), scones in the other oven, onion marmalade stinking the kitchen out on the hob and coffee on the go constantly.

I am as happy as a pig in poo today. :D

Good afternoon all! It's a mix of sunshine and showers here, but quite a few degrees warmer...and I just saw that there are daffodils about to open on some verges while I was out with Billy! :D

I went into town yesterday to get the fresh fruit and veg from the greengrocers and ended up coming home laden down with plants. Trays of 6 lovely strong pansies were £1 each or 3 trays for £2 - at the garden centre last weekend they were £1.99 a tray. I picked up some lovely primulas too which were 2 for £1. The pots in the garden look much more cheery now and it's lovely to look out and see some colour. I did the large pot by the front door too.

John's gone to Shropshire, to the Long Mynd area, with some cycling friends today. It's not far though so he should be home mid-afternoon. They arranged it for a few weeks ago but were snowed off, the forecast looked a bit dodgy for today and it wasn't until last night that they decided it'd be okay to go. He's hardly done any cycling since Christmas, even when the snow has thawed the trails have been too icy to be safe.

Di, our local Lidl has closed! Quite a surprise when people are supposedly turning to budget supermarkets. It's always looked quite dismal and tatty in there though whereas Aldi is bright and clean. Thankfully there's one close to where John works so he now has the joy of going in his lunch hour and picking up my coffee pods and a few bits that Mom and Dad like from there :P

Have a good day everyone!

You just know Weka that if you tidy the playroom it'll just look the same again as soon as your back is turned

Forgot to say, I hope our Saundra will be back with us very soon!
