Hot and sunny.

Both boys stayed over last night and are still asleep as is Don. It's only 7.30am so I've got the pool to myself for a lovely swim.

Today, after mask wearing has been compulsory since July 15 last year, we can now go outside without them. We've still to wear them in shops but it will be lovely to walk into town (especially in this heat) maskless.

So we're going to go to Gambrinus for lunch.

Something light and quick for dinner tonight and the footy.

Just been to SW - Becky lost weight, I didn't - and we're now having brekkie outside Corretto's. It's a bit dull and breezy, in fact we're wearing coats Summer is forecast to return by next Thursday allegedly We'll see Home to pick up the dogs in a while, then round to see D.

Afternoon all, it’s been a busy day and it’s nice to be able to say that. Mostly dull and cool We went to watch Michael’s soccer match this morning, they won and he played very well. Then we went to a shopping centre a bit further away than our usual one, as we fancied a mooch around M&S. This particular centre also had a great Debenhams and it was very sad to see it all boarded up Edward got some nice polo shirts and I got some bras, two of which will have to go back as they don’t fit. It was good to go somewhere slightly busier than we have been to recently. We had a cuppa with some very nice donuts before coming home.

My brother is back in hospital since yesterday, he had an infected finger which was not improving with antibiotics, and this week, his neck has been extremely sore, so much so that he has been trying to sleep in his chair, and has not slept much for three nights. My niece says we will see a huge change in him when we see him in a few weeks, he has got feeble and slowed down a lot. I know he is 77 but he was always on the go, so something is definitely not right. He phoned me last night from hospital, he sounded tired and hoarse, and wasn’t giving out which is not normal. All vibes welcome please.
