Excuses

Postby cruiser2 » 25 May 2021, 15:02

Received a letter today adressed to my wofe, dated 26th February 2021 from one of the insurance companies who paid her private pension.
So I have phoned them asking for an explanation.

After listening to a recorded message for several minutes saying my call was imprortant, I finally spoke to a lady and told her what had happenned.

I was told that the printer had broken down and so letters which hould have gone out at the end of February have only just been printed. Tat is over two months
without anythng being printed. Also ther were no checks to see if the pensioner should still received the letter. She blamed it on the computer.
I said I wa very upset and complained about this very poor service.

I am going to write stating this should not have happened as I cannot understand why it took two months to print the letter.

I make it nearly three months and the excuse is one of the weakest I have ever heard.

I know that commercial printers cost a fortune to buy and maintain, but as a back-up in an emergency there are Wi-Fi enabled printers for under £40.

Keep on at them, Cruiser, and do not accept any waffle.
