Morning Saundra, morning everyone

Another lovely morning and it must be warmer, Molly stayed out all night, came in, had breakfast and is out again

I had a lie-in :Hi: but the hay fever has kicked in,so spent most of the time sneezing

Big uproar in Odemira, as the virus has really hit the place, so it's in complete lockdown. Looking at the news, it's seasonal foreigners coming in for the fruit picking. Just watching the news and the way they're "looked" after - horrendous. We had planned on going into the district today, to get some cushions for our outside chairs, but the whole district is shut down

So, weeding for Grumpy, I have ironing and we think as it's warmer, we'll have a bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s just stopped raining here although I think more showers are forecast for later. It’s still very breezy.

No plans today, apart from ironing.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all.
It has just rained again. It seems that with rain it's all or nothing. Either you get no rain at all or nothing but rain. I'm glad it's eased off whre you are, Saundra and Jo.

Jan, our government has just announced that they are looking at letting in 30,000 workers from eastern europe to help with the harvest in the UK this year. They had better vaccinate them the moment they step off the plane, that's all I'll say.

In a mo we are off to the supermarket and to MrsC's Uncle Jim. Then maybe getting the old carpet up and definitely ringing up about the missing wine delivery.

Have a good day all.

They're mostly Nepalese workers Crommers. The living conditions are horrendous. 20 people in a two bed house, no wonder they're all infected

Ironing done, I'm now going to hand scrub the kitchen floor

Morning all :D

It was raining and blowing a gale last night, wasn't sure what to expect when I got up this morning, everything seems to still be in place thank goodness. Quite bright now, but still very windy

My hip's still sore so I'm definitely not up to a walk along the clifftop today, but with this wind it's probably not a bad thing. Luckily E's quite happy walking round the close while the weather's playing up.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Oooops didn’t realise it had got so late! Mixed weather here today, and chilly. Edward played golf though. I had the first of four chair yoga sessions, provided online free by our local council, I enjoyed it. Then I headed off to my favourite shopping centre for the first time since mid-December - the shops are mostly closed but Boots was open which was the main purpose of the trip. Even better, having got what I needed and decided to treat myself to a nail varnish, when I got to the till it was 3 for 2 on Rimmel, so I trotted off to get more :D I also treated myself to a book as the big bookshop was open too. That felt like a little trip out! We’ve been catching up on some recorded stuff while I applied the new nail varnish.

Good afternoon everybody.

Went shopping this morning. Was going to have a coffee and cake at a small cafe. It has tables outside in a short arcade. Now been told by the
local council that they can only serve drinks and food for take-away.
Yet at one end of the arcade with tables and chairs on the pavement at the side of one of the main roads, customers were sat down drinking and eating.
There was also another cafe with tables and chairs outside under a short walkway with customers being served with drinks and food.
At one of these tables, a person was stood up talking to the customers who were sat down.
Typical local jobsworth action.

Evening everyone :)

I've been out most of the day, as I had an appointment to get my colour done! Bit of a shock at first as it came out a bit darker than I expected - I wanted silver, it looks more gun-metal with silvery strands, but now I've put some make up on it looks a lot better 8-) Might give Zumba a miss tonight, and do it tomorrow instead, as I've done well over 10k steps already, and my hip aches a bit.

Jan, take care over there, until you've had both your vaccines - that situation sounds quite worrying (((x)))

Bargain, Osc! :D xx

Sorry it's still rainy Saundra! xx

Jo, my ironing pile seems to grow on its own :cute:  xx

Crommers, it's certainly a very bad idea unless they do! :? xx

Hope you're better tomorrow Jen xxx

That's a shame Cruiser! xx

Take care everyone :) xxx
