Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 11 Mar 2021, 06:37

Good morning.

I'd say warm and sunny again but the word hot needs to replace warm. Yesterday was scorchio. I know I used the pool in April last year but I feel it could be an earlier dip this year.

Usual two hours this morning then meeting my friend for coffee and pitufo.

Work 4 - 7 then I'll meet Don and we're going for a bite to eat.

Masterchef tonight. :P

Have a good day.

Thoughts for Cruiser. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Hot.... I forget what that is
Enjoy the day Ally x

A rather windy night but pleased to report that all is still as it should be; and very pleased that the gazebo is still up. I did tie it down incredibly well (even if I say so myself) but it's still nerve-wracking watching it in this wind and a worry that the cover will tear lose. Cannot wait for April; crossing fingers that Defra will then lift the lockdown rule for the chickens (I've heard somewhere that 7th April will be the day)

I'm about to head to Sainsbury's to get my bits and bobs and also a few things for a neighbour and another friend. Then back to a ususal / usual day - got bread proving so that'll go into the oven once I get back.

Nothing else exciting to report

Love to everyone; hugs for those that need / want one and as always stay safe xx

Good morning everybody,
Thank you all for your condolences.

The sun is coming out after very strong winds and rain in the night. Have been up since just after 6.00 a.m as I couldn't sleep
Am running out of room to put cards.
Going to start ironing now.
Have a good day.

Morning all, it’s a bright morning, it was windy during the night and I heard a wheelie bin blowing down the street. Up early as per usual Thursday - supermarket delivery between 9-11, also Michael was here at 9am. He goes back to school on Monday, so it’ll be back to normal from next week. I have an appointment in the hospital at 2pm, so will leave here around 1pm to allow time to park and go through the temperature check.

Cruiser, sometimes doing usual household stuff can help you get through the day. Do you have any news on arrangements yet?

Morning all, I was convinced I’d posted yesterday but realised late last night that I hadn’t. Not that I’d got anything exciting to say

It’s sunny and quite mild despite being very windy. It was raining first thing though.

Thinking of you Cruiser x

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Thinking of you Cruiser xx

The wind was really fierce last night. luckily the wheelie bin didn't go over before it was emptied this morning. Took a bit of effort to pick it up, but at least I didn't have to chase round the driveway picking up rubbish. No plans, Sainsbury's are delivering this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon. We have been for a paper and taken some stuff to the dump.
Very windy here but sunny.
I have got the breadmaker on.
Hot? I think I've forgotten what that is.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon everyone

Lovely day, sunny and warm 8-)

Taken me this long to get connected to the internet :cute: :cute: Did all the usual bits, nada. Left it, went to Ourique, met a friend, got some books, back, curry done, Grumpy weeding and i kept trying the laptop. Nada. Zilch. Just tried it again, connected to next doors and then onto mine and i'm here

heard my friends tale of woe re divorce. They moved here after being married 40 odd years, then he left her  He's gone back to England with his new lady love. He now wants to keep his name on the deeds of the house, which she is disputing and although he's happy for her not to sell it, by keeping his name on the deeds, when he pops his clogs, his lady love will get his half. Bernie is hopping, understandably. But Nuno, the lawyer, is pretty astute, so hopefully, things can be agreed, somehow.

I'm cooking a new chicken dish tonight, will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Thoughts to Cruiser and Crommers xx

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone xx

Good afternoon.

Had a phone call from the doctor who came last Friday when mrs.e died. She completed the paperwork so I could get the Death certificate.
She wanted to make sure I was OK both physically and mentally.
Am slowly progressing through the paperwork, washing, ironing and cleaning.
Anybody know a quick way to iron sheets?
