Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 10 Mar 2021, 06:02

Good morning.

Warm and sunny again. It feels like early Summer.

Off for a walk then back to shower etc then going to pick Jacob up. :D

We're going to Miramar for a shopping spree. :cute:

Carre Four, C&A, H&M, Primark...to name a few.

We're going to have a tacky burger and chips for lunch.

Repair Shop and a non tacky dinner tonight.

Have a good day.

Thoughts for Cruiser. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool start again but will warm up again 8-)

Off to Ourique later, need to drop off the library books, hopefully collect the now sorted out phone and the joy that is Pingo.

Back to do not a lot, although we'll have a bbq later. Chris wil be coming up, hopefully with some black pork loin and steaks from the butcher in Castro.

Thoughts for Cruiser and Crommers x

Enjoy your shopping Ally, our shops are still shut. We'll find out Friday is the lockdown will continue. The Alentejo had three new infections yesterday. I'd like the government to continue with this until after Easter. It's only a couple more weeks and if they can ramp up the vaccine, so much the better.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning!

Oh Al, a shopping spree and lunch out sounds like heaven! I can't wait until April 12th xxx

Hope your phone is sorted Jan xxx

It's horrid here, very windy and lots of rain blowing about  :cute: I have a few bits to do around here, then will be walking up to see D, via the Co-op. Might do Zumba again tonight, although I did do it last night, so will see how I feel.

Take care everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it’s miserable here. Not much planned for the day, doing the supermarket order and we might don the wet gear and go for a walk. Crommers, thank goodness Kellie is past Peppa Pig, the theme tune made me grind my teeth  I used to love C&A too! This day last year, we got my cancer diagnosis - it’s been some year since then.

Everything done, phone sorted, stuff for the pool and met a friend in the car park and had a socially distanced chat for 15 minutes.

It's lovely and warm now :D Very springlike. Lovced seeing all the blossom on the fruit trees yesterday.

I'm OK with the theme tune Osc, but it is so catchy! I'm constantly getting Peppa Pig earworm... also "Mr Potato is coming to town.."

Yes, you've had some year. xx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here

C&A was the shop when I was young Ally, loved it.

The forecast is promising high winds later, typical it's put the bins out day!! Nothing else planned.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone.... I started replying this morning and then not sure how 11am became 1.30pm and conference calls on the agenda

Osc ((hug)) what a year indeed x

Well a very wet and windy day here as well - I think it's the same everywhere in the UK at the moment. Cats all fast asleep in the lounge, chickens hunkering down in their covered run and I refuse to leave the house today. Should be popping to the post office but that can wait until tomorrow :D

I started a new batch of bread a bit earlier today - it's a very simple recipe that requires minimal work but a takes a long time; from start to finish it's about 24 hours. The first prove is 18 hours; which according to my sister is meant to be a healthier way of baking and usually people with milk gluten intolerances are actually OK with this bread because of that longer time. Either way - it's a super delicious bread and my favourite to make.

Crommers, chicken pie for dinner here as well - left over from yesterday so very simple as no cooking involved :D

Well have a lovely day all; ongoing vibes for those that need them

Stay warm / dry / safe xxxx
