My babies are back

Postby debih » 09 Apr 2013, 18:49

They got home around 5pm. They have had a lovely time and are exhausted. They have walked miles every day and been to the seaside each day. Apart from today - they went to the Yorvik museum in York.

They came home, showed us what they bought, went to their bedrooms (L to put her "chick egg" in water and then to make a gravestone for it in case it died - I have no idea what she is on about) and S to go on Skype to her friends.

They came down for their dinner and are now back upstairs again. L making a house for her chick in case it does survive and S back on Skype.

They are both off to their beds in the next ten minutes as they are shattered. I said they could go and watch iplayer on their ipods for an hour, although I don't think either of them will last that long.

God knows what it is but she is very excited about it. As soon as she came home she routed it out of her suitcase and went and submerged it in water.

It has to sit in water for 48 hours until it hatches and then has to stay in water until it grows.

And after that I have no idea what it is supposed to do!

I think that could be it!

I didn't see the packaging so I don't know but she did say that the egg hatches after 48 hours and then the chick grows!

Now you've reminded me of Sea Monkeys, we often used to have those but always got them from Woolworths :?
