Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 02 Mar 2021, 06:14

Good morning.

Sunny and warm again.

Back to work for me today. My usual two hours this morning (which will be exams) then I'm meeting my friend for a coffee and pitufo.

4 - 7 then home to a Thai green curry. :cute:

Have a good day.

Morning all :D

Dull, overcast and very misty.

We were up at silly o'clock getting E ready for his long round trip to have the covid test. He's just left, his appointment's at 10.20 this morning so providing they get there on time and drive straight through he could be home in time for lunch around 1ish.

Tesco released their Easter slots this morning so that's all booked. Now planning to do a bit of house stuff, give the bathroom a good scrub, that sort of thing.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Morning Ally, Jen and everyone

Bit cloudy this morning, but warm ish 8-)

Good luck to E and safe journey x

Our schools aren't back yet Ally, probably not for a couple of weeks yet. Although the infection rate for the country is now in the hundreds, rather than thousands.

ironing for me this morning. I didn't do it the other day, so now have a huuuge pile

Hopefully, the "lawn" will be dry enough for Grumpy to strim later. Although we love seeing the wild flowers, they do look messy. He'll try and do the drive too. Normally, that would be my job, but hey ho.

BBQ later :Hi:

Thoughts for the Cruisers xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning! :)

Good luck to your students Ally 8-) :) xx

Jen, I hope everything goes well for E xx

Jan that's good news on the virus! Hope the grass dries out enough for Grumpy :) xx

It's grey and cold here  I'll be walking up to Morrisons in a while, then up to see D. It's a good walk, gives me plenty of steps 8-) First I need to wash my hair - the new purple shampoo I bought that's taking the blonde ends out of my hair and blending in the grey roots, making it all silvery, has to stay on for 20 minutes! It's a bit of a faff but a nice result. Zumba tonight.

Take care everyone :) xx

Morning, it’s grey and chilly here too Kaz.

Bill’s had a long walk, he now sitting with Tom as he teaches. I really hope no one comes to the door while he’s in there
I might cut the lawns later, they feel dry.

Jen, good luck to E. I’ve got my Tesco delivery booked this morning for Good Friday.

Good luck to your students, Al x

Enjoy your walk, Kaz. I’m off out to the post box in a minute with some cards my Mom gave me to post for her.

Enjoy the bbq Jan!

Have a good day all x

Morning all

Jan, that is good news re the infection rates; I haven't looked for a while to see what ours are. But I really worry that they're going to rocket again in a few weeks as a result of schools going back. But fingers crossed it all works out. Enjoy the BBQ later
Ally, good luck to the students for the exams - such tough times for them anyway but now with Covid it's really not easy at all
Jen, best of luck to E and hope all goes to plan and he's back home asap. But (and sorry if I missed it) why does he have to go on such a long journey for the Covid test, can that not be done locally / GP?
Jo :D - bet Bill will be the star of the class
Kaz, I really need to get walking again - I was determined to get my 10 000 steps in again but so far am failing miserably

A rather dull and overcast day today - hopefully it'll clear up a bit later, like it did yesterday. Nothing special going on here today - just the usual mix of work and pootling.

Thinking of the Cruisers and sending ongoing vibes. Crommers, how are Mrs C and her sister doing? Thinking of you all as well x

Have a lovely day everyone, as always - stay warm and stay safe x

Morning all, it’s dull and overcast here too and a bit chilly. Edward seems to be improving, says he feels washed out but didn’t have to get up for the bathroom during the night. Fingers crossed it will continue like that. No plan for today, I did all the ironing yesterday. I’ll take up those trousers I was going to take up last week  I started them but got bored pretty quickly, is anyone finding it hard to concentrate on things these days? Thinking about the Cruisers, and also Suff, who has posted that he is in hospital following a heart attack. Good luck to E, Jen.

Ria them's the rules, agree it does seem daft to do such a long journey for a covid test, but the RNOH insist it's all done on their site in Stanmore. Not nice for E though, he's not allowed to exit the car at any stage, not even for the loo.

Hope Edward contines to improve Osc xx

Good afternoon al.
Freezing cold here today.
MrsC and her sister are doing well now Ria, thanks.
Just back from Tesco's, our favourite wine has vanished from their shelves, harumph.
Paperwork this afternoon.
Thoughts are with the Cruisers, I hope the care has been sorted.
Have a good day all.
