Morning! :)

Saundra, happy birthday to Jonathan :D I hope he enjoys his day :D xxx

Ally, looking forward to it! :D xxx

It's beautifully sunny here, but there was a light frost on the field opposite when I got up to make us tea at about 7.30  So it's chilly. Mick is running B to work, and I'll make us some breakfast when he gets back. We have an order to pick up from Wickes this morning - Mick is replacing the flooring in one of D's spare bedrooms. The backing on the carpet in there had started to rot, and you could smell it slightly when you went into the room. D was going to get the carpet guy in who did her carpets and ours, but as she wants laminate - the click-lock stuff - M offered to do it. He made a great job of Harry's room a couple of years ago :) So we're collecting the stuff and taking it round to D's. Mick's going to take a few days off sometime soon to lay it 8-)

Take care everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Hazy sunshine this morning and it's quite mild 8-)

Happy Birthday to Jonathan :Hi: :Hi:

Had a lovely lie-in this morning and I've had a wander around the rather wet garden. Mist and dew early this morning  But, we have a rose coming out :Hi: :Hi: Dead chuffed, as it's a cutting we took from down by the ruin and it's our first rose on that plant :D

Gentle pootling - no idea what I can do - for me and Grumpy is struggling to find things to do. Think I'll cobweb the terrace and clean the tables. And read  I'm hoping to get some more books next week too - been so lucky :D

Roast pork for dinner - we had thought a bbq, but the weather forecast looked dire, but now it's changed :cute:

Hope Cruiser and Mrs e are doing as well as they can and the Crommers family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a gorgeous morning, although there is fog hanging just out to sea beyond the harbour. Didn’t get up until 10 :o unheard of for me. Edward’s tum is still not 100%, I gave him brekkie in bed but he is up now. No plan, I’ll just see where the day takes me. Thinking of the Cruisers and Crommers.

Good morning all, a lovely day here with lots of sunshine.
Thanks for the thoughts, everyone here is just about good to go now. Things are progressing with the arrangements and we'll get some more things sorted tomorrow
Beef for dinner today which is a treat.
Happy birthday to your Jonathan, Saundra.
We've got a date for the brickie to repair our garden wall, which is good.
Our daughter has been taking a profession qualification and has achieved a distinction for her dissertation; she's a bright girl.
She is leaving her present employer at the end of April and the woman who is covering for E's boss (who is on maternity work) is paicking now because she's just realising how much work E does, and how much there will be to do when she leaves.
A quiet day is ahead but that doesn't bother me; I think we've al got used to quiet days.
Thoughts are with the Cruisers.
Have a good day all.

Lovely and sunny 8-)

Saundra happy birthday to Jonathon.
Hope Edward feels better soon Osc.
Glad things are progressing with the arrangments Crommers. Well done to your daughter.
Thinking of the Cruisers.

Finally got out in the garden yesterday and had a good tidy. E even had a little potter round the patio. Still got a bit of weeding to do, but it's looking much better now.

No plans for today, roast pork for dinner later, vanilla blancmange with E's favorite lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Well done to your daughter Crommers :Hi:

Just been down to take the recycling down and check the post. Our insurance company is giving us a whole 10 euros  Apparently, burglaries are down, as everyone is staying at home   hence the bonus ;)

I've done what I can this morning, Grumpy tried weeding, but everything too wet still. As the sun is drying the "lawn", he'll do some strimming later. Not jealous, not jealous

Good afternoon everybody.

Have managed to clean the car this morning in the sunshine. Firsttime for over four weeks. Have also done some dusting and hoovering.
No change with mrs.e. She would not eat all the soup at lunch time. But she is drinking the energy drinks as well as diluted peppermint cordial.
I do sit with her and chat but she soon goes to sleep.
Hopefuly tomorrow will find out what help I will get. May phone the District nurse to find out what is happenning.
I am glad she is not in pain.
