Good Morning Thursday

Postby Kaz » 14 Jan 2021, 09:05

Morning everyone :)

We're still waiting for Becky's results :? She's on late shifts this week, starting in the early afternoon, so is going to get herself ready for the (hopefully) negative result, as she feels absolutely fine. This is all getting on my nerves, big time, I have to admit. Thursday is normally my Sainsbury's shop, but until we hear I can't go anywhere.....

Love to all xxx

Morning Kaz, Saundra and everyone

Overcast this morning, but no frost :Hi: :Hi: And we're warming up from today too :Hi: :Hi: About time, I'm fed up with this cold

Hope you get the result soonest kaz xx

Cookery and kitchen stuff today. Curry to make, room to find in the freezers for the meals I made yesterday and also bought a huge pork loin yesterday that needs sorting. Nice lump of it for Sunday, I think 8-)

Chris and Lucy are coming up later this morning, to sort the new phone out. Good job there's one techy person around

We're in lockdown for the next 15 days, but okay for shopping and as they're in our very small bubble, they're okay to visit.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s pouring down here so no walk yet. There’s the possibility of snow later too, the rain has only this morning washed away the last of it from two and a bit weeks ago.

John’s hopefully not on site today but a phone call could change that. Joe’s in work. I’ve got some cleaning to do so that’ll keep me busy.

Fingers crossed that Becky’s not waiting much longer for her result, and that it’s negative.

Morning Saundra x

Take care all xx

Morning all

Fingers crossed you get the results today Kaz, that is taking a bit longer than normal - I thought it was 24 hours? But suspect they're inundated at the moment.
Jo, it's so so wet here, I'm over this rain (for now). Apparently Sunday is going to be a nice dry day - fingers crossed
Jan, interesting re your bubbles - here (if I understood it right - and that's what I've done) you're only allowed to form a bubble with one other household if you're a single person. Only exceptions are support bubbles for childcare / patient care). But you can't have two families form a bubble - but I'm very open to correction on this one
Hugs back at ya Saundra - hope you're coping OK?

Usual work day for me and more general pootling around the house - so nothing exciting to report at all.

Have a lovely day all - stay dry / warm / safe xxxx

Morning all, it was very dull earlier but is beginning to brighten up now. We will have Kellie and Michael today - Kellie’s online class is 9.30-10.30 so Miss Osc will bring her down when she is finished, Michael’s is 12.30-1.30 so he will come down himself after that. Once they move, things will change and I’ll be in the car a bit more picking up and collecting as they will no longer be in walking distance. Might go for a walk with them during the afternoon. We’re waiting for our shopping to be delivered. Edward has been cleaning the windows, we can see out now :D

Morning all we have snow. It's melting but it is snowing faster than it is melting atm.
Our neighbour Sergio has pneumonia; he's in our local hospital but wants to come home asap and I don't blame him. Our local GP is furious that it took four weeks to get Sergio an appointment for the X-ray that confirmed the pneumonia.
We were going out for a Tesco run but no chance at the moment.
I hope the results come back speedily Kaz and that they are negative.
Have a good day all.

Ria, I think that’s right re the bubbles here.
Tomorrow is supposed to be dry and cold here, before it rains again on Saturday. Even when it’s dry though walks aren’t particularly pleasant as it’s so muddy and now that more people are making use of the woods and common the paths are taking quite a battering with extra footfall and are getting really churned up :?

We have a couple of big hills in the village. Cars can't get up or down them because of the conditions and there has been at least one crash. Yet the weather forecast on radio Leeds is talking about this "rain" that we are having! :o

24 to 48 hours, Ria. Becky contacted them and they said if she hasn't heard by this afternoon to ring the number on her testing card  Thanks for the good wishes everyone xxx

You're right about the bubbles here Ria and Jo, single person households with one other household only.

Sorry to hear about Sergo, Crommers. I can quite understand him wanting to get home asap - Becky's personal trainer caught Covid in hospital having her baby :shock: :( VV vibes for {{{{{{{{{{{{Sergio}}}}}}}}}}}
