I was thinking we could have the last of the meat from the leg of lamb, so I prepped all sorts of veg, and then looked at the leg.

We're having sausages to add more meat

Bread Sauce (packet of Colemans)
Fluffy Roast spuds (McCains, Iceland don't do Bessies)
Honey glaze Roast parsnips with 33% extra in the pack (Iceland)
Vacuum-packed Chestnuts (Waitrose)
Prunes wrapped in bacon (Mrs O)
Carrot baubles with parsley and chive butter stars (Iceland)
Chippolatas wrapped in bacon (Iceland)
Pork and bramley apple stuffing parcels (Iceland)
Lo-salt gravy (Bisto)
Cranberry sauce (Waitrose Essentials)
One of those small bottle of JP Chenet red wine (France)

Master O is now horizontal on the settee
Mrs O is staring vacantly at a Poirot or some such
The Ostrich is quitely burping to itself in the corner

Well I made a Bolognese sauce, and was going to cook pasta with it (gluten-free pasta for Mick) when M suggested we have rice instead So we had it with lovely fluffy basmati - and jolly good it was too

I love fresh veg but it's not practical for me on my own but iv loads of for frozen veg and
Hope ossie has washed the pots
