Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 06 Dec 2020, 08:06

Morning everyone

Sunny, a few clouds, by by heck, it's cold out there. 5C at the moment :( Possibility of rain this afternoon, so the washing machine is on, get that out of the way, as more rain is forecast for most of next week.

Off to Pingo after coffee, get all the heavy stuff, beer, wine, water. Might have a chance to look for some treats, the week days are so busy.

Back for sausage butties :Hi:

Other than that, it's just the prep for dinner, light the fire and keep warm 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, it’s a wet one here.

I’m contemplating going into Stafford this morning. I need wrapping paper. Ironing first though.

Cottage pie for lunch and I’ll probably see what football is on this afternoon to watch with Joe. We watched the two evening games yesterday, it’s been nice having him around so much.

Hope Pingo’s quieter for you today Jan.

Have a good day all :)

Good morning all. A typical December day here, raw, grey and wet.
Yes I hope the shopping is nice and quiet for you Jan. Leeds lost last night Jo. If we stay up I'll be a happy man. Hopefully those teams below us will keep losing! #sporting
We are having Eliza to sleep over tonight. Hopefully she will sleep through.
Our new duvet was used for the first time last night - it's lovely and toasty1 :D
We'll be watching the footie today as well I think. It is certainly not a day for going very far.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here :D

Hope your neck eases as the day goes on Saundra x

We've been extra lazy, only just having brekkie. Not too much to do today, need to empty a couple of the bins and check the freezer in the garage so I know how much space there is before I amend tomorrow's Tesco delivery. Roast chicken for dinner, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Well it's cold here, but unfortunately wet too! Horrid! :o We've been to D's to put out the bins, picked up a newspaper and now have some brisket and roast spuds on the go! It felt like proper Sunday roast weather today ;)

Afternoon all, it was extremely frosty when we got up but lovely, however it has got quite foggy now but still extremely cold. We had ordered something from Argos yesterday which would be held until tomorrow, but we decided to go to the shopping centre early today on the basis that if the queue for the car park was too big, we would just go home. We planned it like a military operation - list of shops with items required in each  We got there at 10.30 and had everything done in an hour, no browsing. Home by midday and the shopping centre was very much more busy when we were leaving. I’ve some laundry to sort, but otherwise we’ll be mostly watching the snooker final.

I was looking at Baileys last week Saundra, but it was 15 euros  And the presentation box was almost double that. Even the Carolans was expensive.

I might just treat us though 8-)

Just come inside, been a cloudy day, after a promising start, but most of the washing dried. We sat in the garden room, well wrapped up but it got to 13C and too cold to sit outside. The fire was lit a few hours ago, so toasty inside.

We need Jose Felipe to get up on the roof and sort out one of our chimneys - blasted birds were up there again this morning, :x I'll speak to him next week, when he brings the eggs.

Dinner will be a little earlier than normal, we're both hungry.

Aldi’s Baileys - or Fakeleys as it’s called in our house. - isn’t bad for less than £4 a bottle :D
