Morning Ally, morning everyone

figured I better get on here early as I've ended up not posting the past few days because 'stuff' just got in the way - and can't even tell you what stuff it was :? but the days just seem to be flying by.

Ally, your post reminds me that I need to book a hair appointment as well. It's been a while since it last was cut and could do with a bit of a tidy / trim

A usual day of work for me, as well as a trip to Sainsbury's and also to Wildlife Aid to drop off some out of date medical supplies (mainly bandages) that can't be used for humans but as there is absolutely nothing wrong with them and they are all still sterile wrapped they are totally fine for animal use and Wildlife Aid are happy to have the bits and bobs. They were being thrown out by a practice where Nadine used to work - such a waste!

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Cloudy start but will warm up later 8-)

Daft, isn't it, chucking stuff out when it can be used for something else

Just been watching Molly and the cos in the filed next door, She's not bothered by them at all - but is not keen on the sheep

Off to Ourique later, normal runaround, bank for cash, Chinese for pots, chemist and then the joy of Pingo

Coffee on the way back and then might do some more gardening, I was able to have a wander around the garden yesterday, digging up the weeds we don't want on the "lawn"

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

My walk turned into a run  which meant I could pop home for half an hour before my hair appointment.

I must take my camera when I do my walk Friday morning. I saw so many lovely images I'd love to photograph.

We don't really get autumnal weather here. It's more spring like. :? The only sign we're heading into winter is the sight of the chestnut stalls setting up.

Good morning all, it’s sunny here and quite breezy, and cold.

Just waiting for the Tesco delivery, it’s due between 10 and 11 although at 8.30 the app said it had been delivered! John’s gone into work a bit later today as he’s got a site visit so he came for a walk with me and Bill. He’s got to have a one hour safety induction to go into a factory to tell someone that a piece of equipment needs to be moved 50cm to the right

There’s washing on the line and that’ll need ironing later.

Ally, I’m really fancying some roasted chestnuts now

Have a good day all xx

Apparently they found an unexploded bomb somewhere in town yesterday.

The Bomb Disposal Unit decided to sit on it all night and let it off at 8:00 this morning. That got everybody up sharpish!!

Lol! I bet it did.
Clear and cold here.
We have been for a paper and some fresh eggs and this afternoon I will have another crack with the bread maker.
Yesterday MrsC made some old fashioned parkin, the kind we used to have on bonfire night.
She was not impressed with my observation that if the parkin went uneaten we could always resurface the road with it (should last a good twenty years) and indeed she threatened to force feed me with it!
This recourse to violence from the modern woman is much to be deplored!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Mostly dry with spells of drizzle.

Good luck with the new router Saundra.
Blimey Ossie, I bet it did get everyone up a bit sharpish.

   that did make me chuckle Crommers.

It's bin day, hope it doesn't start to pour down when it's time to put them out. Just goes to show how exciting NOT my life is now when my main concern for the day is the bins :o  On a more positive note, after E managed to sit up at the dining room table for dinner on Sunday, he's decided to do it for lunch each day. It's still a bit uncomfortable for him to sit there for too long, but it's a step in the right direction. Even better his confidence is definitely improving, every step towards our usual routine helps no end. Not being able to do things does get him down at times, but I remind him this is a marathon not a sprint.

Hope you all have a good day xx
