Morning you two; morning everyone

Have fun shopping this evening Ally
Jan, I'm going to make another batch of mushroom and tarragon soup - it was delicious and so easy to make. Yesterday I made a paneer, aubergine and mushroom curry; didn't quite come out as I wanted originally but a bit of tweaking and messing about with spices soon got it right.

A rather dull and dreary morning here. About to head out to a friends for breakfast - again the joys of a laptop is that I can take my work with me. I need to be home by 12h30 for a conference call but 2 hours is enough for a natter and breakfast.

Then this afternoon I need to clear out the rest of the outhouse - I've got a guy coming tomorrow to knock the wall down that separates the two areas to make one large one. I already have a doorway in it but now getting rid of the rest of the wall and then over the weekend I'll be sorting out cupboards in that area - using the stuff that was in my old kitchen; all I need to get extra is the worktop. Cannot wait for it all to be done it'll make a big difference and be so much more functional to what it is now.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all.
Some blue sky here but mainly cloudy and it has rained overnight.
In a while I'll do a Sainsbo's run. Steve the decorator finishes our bedroom today, I may need a bit more cash.
I wish we could have one hour of Ally's sun!
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s pretty miserable here, rain and wind. Today I awarded myself an easy day, when I plan to mooch around doing very little (not much change there  ) Edward is putting on his wet gear and heading out for a walk. We go into Level 5 lockdown from midnight tomorrow. I want to organise books from the library so I’ll give them a call and organise that. Also, I hope to finally finish the little cardi I’ve been knitting for my premature grand nephew - I’ve had some kind of mental block about it, it’s ready to be sewn up now. I’ll have my shower and then get going.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, but there some rather ominous looking clouds lurking overhead.

Absolutely no plans for today. I was a bit rash yesterday and sorted the front garden, should have left it a few days as my ankle was still sore, but I was worried the weather would change. Managed to get it all done ready for the winter, but I'm paying for it today, feeling totally crocked. Even E could beat me in a race right now  Apart from doing lunch and dinner, intend to sit with my leg up for most of the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

We're having the most awful storm   So much so, we're on red alert :o

Several pots have blown over, as have the benches. The glass smashed in the table - our fault, should have brought it in. And it looks as if our fence is on a lean

But it's warm and the soup was lovely

It is quite scary Jen. Just glad, in one way, that we live on top of a hill. So many places have been flooded

Suppose to ease off, wind wise later this afternoon, but the rain will continue for a few more days. Grumpy already working out how to push the fence panels back.

Good afternoon everybody.

Got my nw computer late yesterday afternoon. the tower is smaller and lighterthan the old one. The On/Off switch is now on top with two USB inputs.
It loads up quicker and the colours look brighter. So it is all systems go.

This morning have finished fixing two new LED lights in the garage. These replaced two flourescent lights. So no more flickeing lights and will no have to change the tubes. Intend to fit two in the loft soon.
No rain here Just blue skies with fluffy clouds.
Just pootling this afternoon.
Have a good day everybody.
