Morning Ally, morning everyone

Just getting light and a bit chilly out there. Cooler than of late, but still warm in the sin. As long as we don't get that north wind again, we'll be fine.

Need to get the cleaning done this morning and also the curry and prep for tonight's dinner. Our visitors arrive mid afternoon ish and that's it for the day. Apart from a lot of catching up

Hope E is okay after all the hassle yesterday.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning all

Jan, have a fab time this afternoon; how long are your visitors with you?
Ally, enjoy the day as well and the pre-weekend beer and bite to eat - yum!

Nippy but sunny here (for now). Will be doing a bit of cleaning in between working. Expecting an Ikea delivery between 12h30 and 16h430 and then off to have eyebrows done; followed by a lovely Thai dinner that my friend is treating me to as a thank you for giving her lifts to/from the airport when she went on holiday. Going to a restaurant called the Giggling Squid in Guildford; absolutely scrumptious - cannot wait!

Not much else planned.

Jen, hope you and E have a relaxed quiet day today x

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning, it’s sunny and clear but chilly here. The common was very frosty, and very pretty, when I walked Bill first thing.

I went for a run when we got back and after that I hung the washing, which failed to dry yesterday, back out on the line. No rain was forecast at all yesterday...so it poured down from 1pm until 5

The Giggling Squid sounds fab Ria! :D

Jan, enjoy catching up with your friends!

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everybody.
Clouds are coming back after a sunny start when I walked for the paper.
There are now five vans parked in the street, all working on the house next door. Hammering started before 8.00 a.m this morning.

We are having new carpet fitted in the bathroom and toilet this afternoon. So will move my car to one of our neighbour's drive this afternoon.

Have a good day evrybody.

Hi all - another wet day in Co Durham! I think we have had heavy rain every day in October - no wonder I hate autumn

Home today - most unusual for a Thursday (day off) as I am having my spare bedroom wall papered (he's up there now, having arrived shortly after 9). I've done a fair bit of sorting out and h/w - my new Shark is A.Ma.Zing! But I have very itchy feet now and just want him to finish so I can go out!

Hope E is feeling a bit less tired after the shenanigans yesterday Jen - what a palaver!!

Have a good day all xx

Afternoon all, after some rain earlier, it is now ok out there and quite mild too. We get up a bit earlier on Thursdays as our supermarket shop is due between 9-11 and today it arrived at 9.50. Then I was expecting a parcel which was due between 11.19 and 12.19, it arrived at 11.21  I’ve given our bathroom a very good clean, and have ordered some stuff from M&S. I’ll be collecting Kellie at 1.40, and will be driving Michael to tennis when he gets in from school. We have tighter restrictions from midnight, including no household visitors but childminding is not included in that, thankfully.

Morning all.....almost

Yesterday was a long day, E will be seeing Mr. Palmer again in 4 months time, depending on his health they will decide then when to schedule the re-operation. It means his appointment will be mid February, normally they would get him in within a couple of months after that, but because it will be slap bang in the middle of the usual winter problems, flu and now Covid, realistically it could be anytime between 6 months to a year from now. Not what he really wanted to hear, but obviously he has to regain his health before anything can be done and the rest is out of his control.

The towels are in the washing machine and Sainsburys are delivering this afternoon. Otherwise we're having a quiet day.

Hope you all have a good day xx
