Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 11 Oct 2020, 05:36

Good morning.

Sunny and warm.

I'm off for a walk, I'll have a swim around noon, bung a chicken in the oven for dinner and that's my activities for the day.

Have a good one.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Stunning sunrise again this morning 8-) And we're in for another warm day :D

Off to Pingo soon, get that out of the way and then back for breakfast. Then make more blisters, hacking away at the couch grass. We had lots of lumps of it in the "garden" which makes strimming a little up and down, so this years job is to get rid of it. May take a few more days and a few more blisters

Finishing off the lamb cutlets and chops from the half a sheep we bought earlier this year. Still got legs, liver, ribs and a couple of bags of bits to get through

Hope E continues to improve x What follow up bots are happening Jen?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

We're out having brunch. Need to pop to D's on the way home, to put her bins out for her. Chicken defrosting for me to make a nice fruity curry later

Love to all xxx

Morning all, it’s a lovely bright day and doesn’t seem to be too chilly. Today is Kellie’s 6th birthday and obviously there won’t be an party. But there is going to be a little picnic on the school football field, with her two best friends, us and my sister. Miss Osc and her hubby have made a gorgeous cake, luckily they don’t have to transport it far as she requested six layers  After that we are heading off to the park for music and maybe a little dancing, have to make the most of the fine day.

The bread maker arrived yesterday Saundra. It seems a bit bigger than I was expecting! We have got some breadcakes to get through and then I'll be giving it a go.
Didn't get on here yesterday unfortunately. I was running around shopping yesterday morning and it did make me think about the decline of the butcher's shop. Our village used to have two, there used to be one here in Crofton but all gone now.
There are two decent ones in Wakefield but the one I went to had a queue out of the shop and down the road. It ws a cold day so that was out. So I drove through to Pontefract and got what I needed there.
Yesterday afternoon was cooking a boeuf bourginione and then a bolognese.
Today we have son and his gf coming around for dinner (beef). It will be nice seeing them.
One of son's friends contracted covid shortly after going to a bar in Leeds (don't know if that's where he picked it up) more than a fortnight since. He's OK though. Out of everyone on that trip out though only his brother has been notified by the test and trace app, when there were five or six of them (including our son).
So it seems to be a bit hit and miss.
It's a lovely day here, blue skies and sun.
Happy birthday Kellie!
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s a sunny one.

It was misty when I walked Bill, a proper misty Autumn morning. We walked for around 4 miles and I went for a run after we got home. Two loads of washing have been done and are out drying. I need to be more productive today, I started a 1000 piece jigsaw yesterday morning and finished it in the evening.

John’s on a site visit again today, just like yesterday. He didn’t get back until gone 7 last night (so dinner was courtesy of Dominos) but is hoping for a slightly shorter day today.

happy Birthday to Kellie!

Have a good day all :)
