Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 07 Oct 2020, 05:41

Morning everyone

Dark still and I will enjoy the sunrise when it happens. Another warm day forecast 8-)

Mozzies and Molly woke us up and then couldn't get back to sleep, so might as well get up

Off to the clinic about 8.00, so Grumpy can be de-wired ;)

Back to Ourique and we'll have breakfast at Sonia's bar, then head to the library to drop off some books, then chemist and newsagent for a card, then back home. It's the monthly market at Castro Verde this morning, but its too early to get veg plugs, we'll get them net month.

Grumpy can play with wood and I'll find something to do.

Hope E had a good night xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning everyone

Safe driving to the clinic and good luck for the wired up results - how long until you get them? It sounds so odd that you're looking to buy veg plugs next month - so totally out of sync with here yet you're still northern hemisphere and part of Europe :D

A much more relaxed morning for me today; don't have to be anywhere until 10am - meeting up with Nadine for some breakfast and then a mooch around the shops of a little village close by. They have a furniture shop I want to pop into to see if I can find some dining chairs. The advantage of a laptop is that it is portable so I can work from wherever :)

Hope everyone (esp Jen and E) are doing well x

Good morning everyone.

Gorgeous here and forecast 28 degrees.

I went for a long run as soon as it was light and really enjoyed it.

Having a coffee now and will have a swim soon.

Jacob's asked us out to lunch and Conor is meeting us too. We're going to a chiringuito and I'm looking forward to spending a few hours with them. It'll be nice being by the sea. :D

Have a great day.

Good luck for Grumpy Jan and hoping E is recuperating well Jen.

Good morning all, it’s a sunny one and is forecast to stay dry today

I’m just back from walking Bill, saw the most gorgeous sunrise around 7am.

Tom’s gone to work, John’s gone to Leicester for a site visit and Joe’s in college today. I’ve got the Tesco delivery coming this morning and there’s also an Amazon delivery due. I might have a go at making another mask or two while I’m waiting. First job though is to hang out a load of washing.

Tonight we’ll take my Mom and Dad’s shopping around.

Hope the results come back okay Jan!

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s a nice bright day here and I’ll head out for a walk shortly. I’ve been up in the attic putting away more summer clothes including one dress I only wore once and another I never wore at all :( I want to get a birthday card for Kellie, also I need to renew the car tax - although the car isn’t getting used much.

All change

It's a gorgeously sunny day now, but we had thick fog all the way to Aljustrel and the easy 35 minute drive took a little longer ;) Still foggy on our way back, so decided against breakfast outside  did what I needed to do, shop wise and came back for cheese and onion toasties 8-)

They'll post the results to us and as he has to go for an ecg later this month, so no great rush. At least he will get that one on the day :D

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Good luck with Grumpy's results Jan.

Taken longer than usual to get washed and dressed this morning. The DN said Ed could have a shower today, it was a bit like a military exercise lol, but more than worth it to see his face when he was sat under the water. We've just had porridge for brekkie, another success. Slowly, slowly does it, but he's beginning to feel a little more like himself.

Absolutely no plans for today, intend to have a nice quiet day.

Hope you all have a nice day, thanks for all the good wishes xx

That must have done E a power of good Jen.
I hope Grumpy was de-wired / re-wired efficiently Jan! Good luck with the results.
A bit of a false start today, I went to the tip to get rid of a couple of bedside cabinets etc, but the queue was right up the access road and spilling back onto the bypass. I'll have to try again later.
Not a bad day here after a grey start, the sun is trying to get out.
Have a good day all.
