What is wrong with some people?

I was walking down to buy some fish when I saw a car parked head on over the path, blocking the lower kerb for buggies or wheelchairs. I was walking by and looking at the car, wondering had it broken down or got a puncture, when a voice shouted “what are you looking at”. It was a woman, and I said “I was wondering why you were parked on the path”. She shouted that it was nothing to do with me, she was helping an old man with his washing. I just walked on, but when I got down to the pier, she pulled up right beside me, making me jump, had a right go, called me a horrible woman and a pig. I took out my phone to photograph her car reg but decided against it as I was afraid she might attack me. So I started to walk on again (I was just at the edge of a path) and when driving away, she drove across the corner of the path right in front of me! I was quite shaken, I can tell you.

That's just appalling Osc. Did you get her number plate? Maybe a word with the police.

I really do not understand the attitude of people like that.

Wow that's incredibly aggressive She's a menace, but I certainly understand you not wanting to escalate the situation by using your phone - you hear of some awful stories

I'm so sorry Osc, things like that really shake you up dont they? People seem to think they have a God given right to do what they want.

Crumbs Osc that is awful.... I also think (if you can remember the car registration / make model / where it was parked originally) that you should report this to the police. That's not normal behaviour at all - and that last stunt of hers, driving over the pavement where you were walking in a deliberately threatening manner you could always log as an attempt to do harm
