Chocolate Blister

I ate loads of Belgian chocolate on Sunday. I haven't eaten any chocolate since Christmas so I binged on it and it was wonderful Biting into hard centres, dribbling and drooling, couldn't leave them alone until the box was empty.
I was cleaning my teeth after gorging and saw a big black spot on my tongue. It was as big as a Smilie and that looks huge on a tongue. So of course I Googled 'black spots on tongues' and scared myself stupid. I won't go any further with what I read.
First thing Monday morning it was still there as big and black as the night before. I ate some crunchy granola for breakfast and felt something happen in my mouth. I looked in the mirror and I had burst a tongue chocolate blister as it had vanished, leaving me with a tiny bit of soreness and a slightly pink patch.
This experience will keep me off chocolate until next Christmas!
