When Grumpy has a dinner I don0't like, like chilli, fish, I make myself pasta, with a cheese, onion and presunto sauce.

And I always, but always, even though I promise myself not to, make too much

I took some pasta out tonight, thinking it was too much and there was still enough for two

Only a little bit left For ron.

And very nice it was too, even cold. I actually quite like it cold

We are the same Jan. We both find it difficult to judge how much spaghetti / pasta is the right amount, and we always end up with too much. But we don't like it cold!

I used to have a plastic thingy with measuring holes in it, for spaghetti

And I need a new battery for the scales, or better yet, now ones.

Always do this!!!

And the only time I'd eat it cold is in a pasta salad which we rarely have

A 9" plate has about 4/5ths the area of a 10" plate, ergo use smaller plates.
